thanks marezee, I pop in and out! My kidlets are ruth 2.5yrs and ezekiel nearly 4 months. I've been home with them from day 1 and plan to stay as long as I can!

that's great! Mine are 5, 4, and 2. I've been a SAHM for 5 years now.

15 days til Christmas...
finally got my cards written out. just need to stuff them with a pic and send them out.
still have to shop for hubby and the boys!

LOL - I just started making our cards. I'm so behind. Good news is except for stocking stuffers all the kiddos Christmas gifts arrived via the trusty old UPS man today. He even brought them in since the one box was oversized and it was raining.

I don't plan on going back to work, but hope to grow my WAHM business. I just think my place is here in the home and we just seem to do better with me here.

I agree...my boys are better with me around also. I don't want to homeschool...i guess i'm selfish in that respect. When the boys are all in school, I want to go back to work and do something creative.

I'm gonna go start a new thread on this parent forum. It's for parents like me...with too much to do in too little time. It will hopefully help us prioritize while getting in a laugh and a post now and then. Watch for it, I'm calling it the "Git'erdun" thread.

I don't think it's selfish. I used to wonder that myself.
I just am not cut out to teach at all.
I do well with homework, but that's about it.
I do teach life skills around the home and out in the world to my kids, and spiritual world view vs. the world's view of things.

He told me last night how grateful he is to me for doing things around the home for him and the kids, even for the things that I don't expect thanks for.
He said, "I want you to know I notice."
And he said he would cook dinner tonight!!!!

Thanks faith! we are fine...posted over in the in-law thread...i canceled the ENT appt due to the weather.

the next storm is coming tonight into morning and through monday. so i don't think we are going anywhere this weekend! there goes my Christmas shopping!!
