But what should Ukrainians do? No people want to die and no people want to be in slavery, prison or camp. If you are Christians, you must help us somehow.
The answer to the present situation is for "Zelensky to surrender" and save Ukranian lives, a war that Ukraine isn't going to win, the EU and USA have stopped aid to Ukraine, Zelensky is done

I disagree with your suggestion that average citizens of Ukraine are going to be put in prison camps and slavery by Putin

Latest Russian disaster:
Russia will likely be forced to rethink its air strategy after one of its valuable spy planes was reportedly destroyed by Ukraine, according to the U.K. Ministry of Defense.

One of Russia's rare A-50 planes, also known by the nickname "Bumblebee" and the NATO reporting name "Mainstay," was purportedly shot down by Ukrainian air defenses over the Azov Sea on Sunday. A Russian Il-22M airborne command post was damaged on the same day.

The A-50s, produced by Russian manufacturer Beriev at a reported cost of more than $300 million apiece, are a crucial component of Moscow's air reconnaissance capabilities. They normally operate with a flight crew consisting of 15 airmen.

The British Defense Ministry said in a Wednesday intelligence update posted to X, formerly Twitter, that the "significant" destruction of one of the aircraft and loss of its crew could compel Russia to limit their use and potentially strain "longer term mission sustainability" in Ukraine.

"The possible successful targeting of an A-50 MAINSTAY by Ukraine is significant," the ministry wrote. "It is likely that Russia will now be forced to reconsider limiting the operational areas of its aircraft. The A-50 is critical to the Russian air surveillance picture over the battlespace."

"The Russian Air Force possesses eight A-50 airframes which can likely cover the immediate operational impact," it continued. "However, the increased stress on the remaining airframes coupled with the loss of the crew will likely constrain longer term mission sustainability."

With new Western funding snarled in internal debates in both the US and EU, continuing to supply Ukraine with ammunition for its air defences has become existential.

Two days before the New Year’s Eve celebration, the most important holiday in the Eastern European calendar,Russia launched its biggest missile barrage since the start of the war almost two years ago. Analysts say the attack was an attempt to both overwhelm Ukraine’s increasingly efficient air defences and deplete its stock of anti-missile ammunition at a time when resupplying Ukraine with more ammo is in increasing doubt.

The headline US $61bn aid package and the EU’s four-year €50bn funding may have beentied up in internal wrangling, but in a sign of the fudges to come this year to keep Ukraine supplied with weapons it needs to continue resisting Russian aggression, Nato agreed this week on deal to buy 1,000 Patriot missiles for coalition members.

Nato members have been sending Ukraine their Patriot missiles which have been able to shoot down all of Russia’s next-generation hypersonic Kinzhal missiles in the recent attack, but have depleted their stocks in the process.

It now appears that a Patriot missile may have been the weapon that downed the previously-thought untouchable a-50.

More bad news for Russia...
Jan 16:

More 155mm Artillery Shells Headed to Ukraine - From Europe

Multiple European nations are stepping up to help keep the flow of the much-needed 155mm rounds to Ukraine's forces. A month ago, Germany ordered more than $400 million shells from Rheinmetall and an unidentified French defense contractor.

Russia is recruiting 30,000 new soldiers a month, enough to replace the ones thrown into the meat grinder in Ukraine, war analysts say

Sonam Sheth
Tue, January 16, 2024 at 11:42 AM CST

Russia and Ukraine are already deep into a "war of attrition" that will likely continue through 2024, according to a senior defense official on NATO's eastern frontier.
Every six months, he said, "the Russians can recruit 130,000, but what they can form into units is 40,000."
...
The remaining 90,000 new recruits each month cannot be used as anything more than "biomass," Salm said. "They are cannon fodder; you use them once and throw them away."

"The Ukrainians are currently killing or severely wounding more than 50,000 [every half year]," Salm added. The current attrition—the real rate of which might be even higher, Salm said—means Moscow is losing a portion of troops equivalent to around 37 percent of those being newly recruited every six months.

One of Russia’s most modern main battle tanks, a T-90, was captured of video losing a face-to-face duel with a Ukrainian Bradley Fighting Vehicle, a far lighter-armed and armored U.S. made troop carrier whose design dates to the Vietnam War.
...
The Bradley — which we cannot stress enough is not a tank — is lighter armed and lighter armored than a T-90. But in the shoot out captured on drone video, the Ukrainian armored vehicles manage to outmaneuver it, hitting it with a constant, accurate barrage of rounds from their 25mm guns.

Notably, the Bradleys appears to deliver near-perfect hits on the T-90 even though the Ukrainian vehicles are moving over uneven, snow-covered ground — an example of the vehicle’s fire control software and equipment, which automatically adjusts the aim of the M242 Bushmaster to account for both the Bradley’s movements and its target.
...
The Russian tank, on the other hand, misses with its shots and does little to evade its predictment, suggesting its crew was not particularly prepared for combat. Eventually the heavily damaged tank crashes into a tree. The video appears to show the crew, still alive, abandoning the tank.

Given the number of Russian recruits being destroyed on the front every month, I would think Putin would be better off to surrender to save Russian lives.

Putin : "Give me one reason why this war should continue."
Zelensky: "We're winning."
Putin: "Give me another reason."
Zelensky: "You're losing."

Germany unveils new military aid package for Ukraine, including tanks, drones, and communication terminals

The German government announced on Jan. 17 a new package of military aid for Ukraine, which includes ammunition for Leopard 1 tanks, reconnaissance drones, and SatCom communication terminals.

The German government has said that it would provide Ukraine with EUR 7 billion ($ 7.6 billion) in military aid in 2024, according to Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The country transferred Gepard anti-aircraft vehicles, other military equipment, and ammunition to Ukraine in December.

Germany announced a new military aid package for Ukraine on Jan. 4, including new Skynex air defense systems.

Only those who were actually photographed committing crimes were arrested. Many escaped punishment for that reason. If police invited people in, they wouldn't be smashing windows and doors to get inside.
I heard just a week or so ago, they were going to start looking to arrest those who went in, knowing they were not supposed to. Nothing about commiting crimes. I think you are wrong there. An older man and his wife went in and walked around a few minutes and they went after them. they just walked around no crime. I guess other than knowing they were not supposed to be in there? How are you supposed to know when they open the door to escort you in?

Seems unlikely. They still haven't rounded up everyone seen committing felonies on camera. Checkable source?

So far, everyone arrested has been arrested for committing a crime. Check here for a fairly recent list:

An older man and his wife went in and walked around a few minutes and they went after them. they just walked around no crime.
Show us that. Checkable source. I don't see them on the list of insurgents arrested. For reasons that seem obvious.

I fully agree, it's a crime how federal prosecutors withheld the Jan 6th video surveillance footage from the defendants, there will be a lot of $lawsuits coming$ against these Feds

Amazing how the sentencing was so different, all the same alleged "Federal" crime one count, and one guy gets 20 days on serving weekend jail time, and another 6 months jail time, with one guy getting 60 days and a $10,000 fine "Wow"

My eyes witnessed capitol police waving people into the building, capitol police taking selfies with these people, capitol police guiding people through the building?

Its a two tiered justice system, driven by political motivation no question, Bidens DOJ is weaponized against conservatives, it's that simple

A truce is one thing, but surrender is another. I think that you yourself would not risk coming from US to Ukraine ( the occupied territories) to check what Russian soldiers would do to you.

On the other hand, not all men can be soldiers. This is precisely the main reason for the huge losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (in addition to the mistake of advancing through minefields without aviation support and lack of weapons). Many men who are caught by the state and put in uniform cannot learn to be good soldiers either due to health conditions, or age, or for psychological reasons. For many it is easier to die than to learn to be good soldiers. It would be good to let such people out of Ukraine or leave them alone. It seems to me that those who are in poor health, too afraid, or unable to kill, are of little use in war. Such people greatly increase losses.

It seems to me that the American advisers to our command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, like professional military men, do not understand that not everyone is like them, not everyone can be soldiers.

At least American Christians will understand such people?

I fully agree with your post, and I appreciate your honesty

Yes the majority of trained soldiers are dead, and Zelensky is desperate to put "anybody" on the front lines in a uniform

Yes Ukraine is out of weapons and ammunition, the EU and USA have abandoned Ukraine and Zelensky, no more aid as I see it, and Putin knows this

There won't be a future truce, Russia has Ukraine and Zelensky on their knees and he knows this, and the massive 4 missile and drone strikes on Kiev in the last 2 weeks is a clear indicator

I don't see any sane person in this world that would go to Ukraine and fight in Zelensky's proxy war to die on the front line, that includes the 769,000 able bodied Ukranian men that left to other EU countries

Conclusion: Zelensky surrender, save Ukranian lives!

The official part of the Russian Orthodox Church cannot say a single word contrary to what the authorities in Moscow say. Our representative, Metropolitan Onuphry, has approached them many times over the past 2 years with a proposal to influence politicians to stop this bloodshed, but they (ROC) do not listen to him.

According to analysts, over the next 5-6 months the armies will simply grind each other down. Both sides are at a deadlock; no one can move forward. There is simply an extermination of the male population (both Ukrainians and Russians).

There are already television programs discussing who will be settled in place of the Ukrainians after the war: people from Africa or from Asia.

There is a stupid extermination of the population.

There are only 2 options:
1) open the borders to those Ukrainians who cannot fight and negotiate a truce;
2) continue positional warfare as long as there is a male population, and then accept migrants from Asia and Africa. In Russia, for such a huge territory, the population is also too small. And Russa will have to accept migrants from Asia and Africa.

(*The ideal option is for Russia to withdraw its troops itself, but this is no longer believable.

Although this option would be the best for Russia too. Otherwise, she will go bankrupt in this war. And then they will receive empty, devastated territories without people. Given the acute shortage of people in Russia itself (on the border with China there are 5 people per kilometer), Russia will worsen its problems if it seizes new territories without people.)

This is the most unrealistic option.

The United States, as our ally, must negotiate a ceasefire with Russia. It is better to put pressure on Russia economically than through bloodshed. Bloodshed is becoming a habit among people in Europe. This could lead to a loss of self-preservation instinct and infect other countries. This is dangerous for everyone.

When there were bloodsheds in Chechnya, Abkhazia and Ossetia (Georgia) since the 1990s, people in Ukraine also thought that this did not concern us. This is a thousand kilometers from us. But in Russia it became a habit, and this habit worked for us too.
