are you saying that a typical car isnt colser to other car then to a truck?

Manufactured products, don't fall into nested hierarchies.
Mechanical devices, are not biological entities.

Stop living in lala-land. Welcome to the real world.

what is the problem?

Common ancestry results, exclusively, in nested hierarchies by the very nature of inheritance through reproduction.

we can claim for multiple origins of species or convergent evolution.
Maybe in the lala-land you live in. Over here in the real world, we can't.

Do you retract your claim then? Because it looks like you are just making things up, which suggests you should be neither criticizing nor teaching.

I never make things up. I just make conclusions based on answers I got back from evolutionist.

Can't recall.
You can remind me by making a statement of evolution. Then you will see hard questions.

Creationists don't have any hard questions concerning evolution.

There you go, there's a statement of evolution...waiting to see hard questions.

I am an Old Earth Creationist and do not believe in what I've learned is macro-evolution; micro-evolution from what I understand is about gene mutation and natural selection and definitely can be observed and documented. Admittedly I am no science expert!

With that said, I am desiring to read some "pro evolution" articles to give me an idea of what most scientists and non-Creationists believe. Right now I'm already in the middle of a few books but if any of you can suggest a layman's book about the topic I'd be open to reading it in the future. My strength is definitely not science so any resources that get real technical are going to be above my head.

This thread is definitely NOT about debate so please refrain from voicing such opinions.
There’s a YouTuber channel called How Creationism Taught Me Real Science. He goes over creationist explanations of natural phenomena and then compares them to what mainstream scientists have really learned about the subject .
I haven’t read all of the comments on this thread but one of the things I’m going to warn you about is that creationists do not use scientific terminology the same way that scientists do. For example, a biologist would tell you that macroevolution is just speciation. Like the difference between a lion and a tiger OR closer to home the difference between us and Neanderthals ( they were a different species)

I haven't watched any of this videos (because I don't watch videos) but I'm Facebook friends with Tony.

What is evolution?

The change in the frequency of alleles in a population over time, due to mutation, natural selection, genetic drift, and gene flow.

So....we're at about 6th grade level so far...care to ramp it up a bit?

If so, would this change have a clear direction?

Toward better fitness relative to environmental pressures, but it can take any of many routes to achieve that fitness.

Next?

For example, a biologist would tell you that macroevolution is just speciation. ( they were a different species)

if so according to this criteria evolution doesnt depend on common origin for all creatures. it means that even if all creatures were created by design evolution is still true.

So evolution is "controlled" by environment. Right?
If so, why not add this critical condition to the definition of evolution?

It was contained in his definition (post #109).

Wow. Have you heard of that Darwin fellow?

Read what I am talking now to the 42 guy.

I am, and it's nothing to do with "They predicted one, but failed one hundred.
Of course, they won't tell you those failures" which you stated regarding nested hierachies.

It's become obvious that you can't name demonstrate one of these hundreds of failed predictions, or the code of silence you suggest they cover it up with.

Why is that?
