Very windy. The power flickered on and off, but we're okay. Most of the roads, last time I checked, were closed. A State of Emergency has been in effect since Sunday. I'm not currently on campus, but the Southern section of my college lost power. My friend said he had to drive home from work in a lot of water, and the only open way home was literred with cops. Surprisingly, our satellite TV is not affected by the storm at all.

All in all, the storm hasn't really done anything to the neighborhood yet, but tomorrow's another day.

Thank goodness your neighbourhood seems ok so far.

As you say, today is another day and who knows what it mights bring but don't take unecessary risks. This storm is very unforgiving...

Morning all - just had brekkie [ well I'm actually finishing it as I type ]

It's dry here but kind of grey so who knows what it's going to do.

S.ilvio - glad you are feeling a bit more human How are the feet ?

My feet and back ached last night but that was to be expected.

Little or no pain this morning which is a nice surprise...

An elderly man was stopped by the police around 2 a.m and was asked where he was going at that time of night.

The man replied, "I'm on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as the dangers of smoking and staying out late."

The officer then asked, "Really? Who's giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replied, "That would be my wife."
