Praying for you all... :prayer:

Praying for peace....

The Circle is right glad of thy powerful prayer for peace and love between all men at this feast of some of the most loving people I have ever known.... I salute you all  :prayer:

Many hugs

May peace remain with you
through your great faith in love
The power of this circle to love just blows my mind
it builds love
from one little seed
planted in fertile ground
by one Red Fox
looking for a place for her love to grow
and it worked !

Welcome all in tears and
under great stress from the world
come in here from the cold and sit with us
and talk in powee by the campfires
of what our hearts long to see ...
it will be a long saying, many voices rightly to be heard
from all over the world

Say on then,
Rejoice... I say REJOICE , all are welcome at this feast of words and truths and fun and love and ....
make thyselves at home and meet new friends and old friends
come let us TALK and do so in LOVE and PEACE
the very spirit of this Circle made wholly of Love
in worship of the Great Spirit of Truth and Love to all men, no exceptions at all ever....

I I ask, how can I be a proud american after what was done to the American NDNs in the founding of this nation and what happened to them thereafter? I simply cannot in good conscience.

Sweet one, I honour thee for creating this place , as fair to look upon as mythical Rivendell

... yet ye already answered the question in your heart, ye as we are ONE with all men through LOVE that is the Great Spirit, it is His truth...

Thus stop putting yourself in boxes that you feel uncomfortable with and notice that you are a human being the same as all, just unique in yourself ... you are beautiful as you are, your love so pure that made this refuge that so many in pain are drwn to to sek the love they need to live, and then refreshed they give it back full well and more to make love grow between all men allover ONE world UNDIVIDED

Wake up to you heart then and be a free person of the WORLD with many here who love thee well... open thy eyes, stop trying to squeeze into boxes where NO men were never meant to fit !

The 'whites' could never have massacred te NDNs if they saw then in one big box, the world, AS BROTHERS ... their mistake.. do not follow them! . be content to be YOU and , follow your own beautiful heart of love

I have great faith in thy love and its pouring out here

for love is the very spirit of the truth of the Great Spirit, Wakan Takan ,whom ye love and thus ye love all, as we see here full well ... simply sit a while and work this out... the heart speaks LOUDER than the nonsense spoken in the world ... now decide what YOU are .... love and with all men, or looking for a box that you never will fit into ....

I speak in love and respect of everyone. I know I may be sticking my neck on the guillotine because of what I am about to discuss. But I am in conflict and am in need of the spiritual counsel of my friends. There is a discussion of who is the best U.S. President in another forum. I personally find such a discussion insulting. Why? Because I am an American NDN, and I do not see how I can honor the memory of any U.S. President or see one as the best. I do see one as the worst though and that is Andrew Jackson. So there lies my inner confliction and turmoil. The 'founding fathers' established this country with land that did not belong to them and claimed lordship over these lands behind the cloak of Christianity. I ask, how can I be a proud american after what was done to the American NDNs in the founding of this nation and what happened to them thereafter? I simply cannot in good conscience. If I make it known I question whether I should be patriotic, I am often met with criticism by those who believe in G-d and country. I am often confronted with accusations of being anti-american and treated as if I am related to Benedict Arnold. But I feel if I am patriotic then I betray my people and dishonor the memory and sacrifices of my ancestors. What am I to do? I know what was done to the North American Indians in the past cannot be altered, but knowing that does not does not alter the grief I feel in my heart because of it. I look around me and all I see is what was once Indian land. Indian land that is now dominated by others who claim lordship over it. The state of Oklahoma was once Indian territory but even that land was taken. Indian land that is now fenced off, with more and more of it being polluted and stripped of its natural beauty. It just makes my heart sick. This land is dying and there are very few who care. It seems to me that there are so many whose only concern is dominating more. I am in need of spiritual counsel and healing myself.

GigageiTsula greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord the Son of God, the only one God teh Creator of all things.

I seek your heart in the Love of God the Father, so I will ask and test the Spirit within you before I continue...

As a Sister in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His Body the Church made without hands,

Do you believe and confess the Jesus Christ is the Son of God come in the flesh and now has ascended to the Fahter of Glory and sits on His Throne beside the Fahter of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Can you confess this in Truth and Spirit?

As I hear from you I will continue in fellowship with His Wisdom and Knowledge!

May God continue to bless you in His Love toward others.

I can't quite make out how your reply relates to GigageiTsula's post, IXOYE5...

But nevermind. Whatever floats your boat...

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

His Spirit floats my boat! :groupray:

Personally, I'm not so very fond of nationalism to begin with. Worshipping a nation, feeling pride for the mere fact of living on a certain stretch of land - that just doesn't make much sense to me.

Then again, nationalism and patriotism have been BIG taboos in Germany ever since the end of WWII. We've experienced what the ideal of nationalism may lead to, and it has made us exceptionally sensitive to its pitfalls. It's but one small step from believing your own nation to be the best in the world to believing that all others are intrinsically inferior, and ought to be treated as such.

I'm actually amazed by the American self-perception: ritual flag-worshipping, placing your hand on your heart while reciting oaths or singing the anthem... all of that strikes me as pretty odd - especially in the light of the violent past that you mentioned.

Regardless of all this, I *do* believe that there could be such a thing as positive patriotism - and that would *definitely* include the sort of criticism you mentioned. A true patriot, in my book, would not ignore or whitewash such dark spots in the past, but draw attention to them, so that the mistakes of the past can be avoided in the future. Thus, a nation might work towards living up to its vision, rather than just projecting an idealized image that hides the rot underneath.

And yes, I consider it the US's duty to cease their discriminative practices towards the indigenous peoples. Otherwise, the American Dream will always be a big lie that was built upon a ruthless genocide.

That is awesome witness of love , and you will I believe find many people use this very spot from all over the world who also will agree with these sentiments of deep love for all men

If men saw each other as equal then we would not fight totake what belongs to others, but learn to SHARE all thing FAIRLY

Instead we have those with best weapons being greedy and making themselves ill with overeating , unhappy with depression at the menaingless ness of their empty existence, whilst they trample on minorities and less powerful peoples....

To call that 'christian' is an insult to Christ, and he never taught such sin .... but EQUALITY ... yet we do not see equality in modern churches, we do not see the sharing of all things which characterised Christ's church... the world of goverment and religion has gone wrong, but it is seriously imposible to put it right by any other means than UNITING people to loev each other...

Poeple WANT to live loving lives, people actually thrive on love... but modern faceless societies, notably 'chrsitian ' ones ine the 'West' make people GREY , depression and suicide are rampant major illnesses BECAUSE of lack of LOVE

This very circle then is the START of a GIANT wave of love that will capture all hearts eventually beacuse all people deep down only want to live in sharing equality

Less than one NEEDS makes peple UNHAPPY, but MORE tha one needs does TOO !!! ... the answer is simple , love and sharing ...respect for ALL men as EQUAL in EVERY way ... no superpowers, no super-races , no domination, no minorities excluded...

Of course I amy be wrong here, so what do you think ?

if everyone spreads this info to their friends..
then they to their friends...

Then INFORMED MASS action could just STOP this before it gets even worse ....

Does any wish to comment on these ancient sayings ?

Lamentations 3:38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

I am not sure why you ask me these things unless you believe I am not saved, although I am and confess Christ Jesus as my L-rd. This is not uncommon though for me to have my faith and salvation questioned since I now embrace my NDN heritage and ancestry. There have been many followers of Jesus who have questioned me about these things before.

Hi Wolfman ,
I was wondering how would you account for scriptures like these then:-

Lamentations 3:38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

We are not here to debate one another, my friend. If I am misunderstanding your intentions then I humbly apologize.

How can one not see that a Native American can embrace the culture of her ancestors and love those who now share in her culture, and be a follower of Jesus Christ at the same time? Are you able to embrace your specific culture and ancestry and celebrate Christ? Is that question even necessary?

One could ask me the same thing, I suppose. My ancestors were Irish. There is a stereotype of Irish people being drunkards and constantly being angry and fighting. So....does that stigma press doubt in your mind that I have a relationship with Jesus Christ?

Just a thought.

Although, I sincerely appreciate the concern of my feelings, please, my friends, do not be offended by these questions, for I am not. I have become accustomed to such questions by other followers of Jesus. So, I ask for the sake of peace and harmony within our circle, that no one speak of it again.
