because...they don't know how to think or be positive if they had a negative childhood, or they don't know what's really "normal"

I also hate when people lie just to get attention.

MMXII, similarly, it drives me nuts when people lie to make themselves look like they're doing more work than they are. Co-worker says: "I come in late, but I do work at home in the evenings and weekends." There's no evidence whatsoever that he does *anything* at home. Does the devil have him so fooled, he actually believes he's telling the truth?

He also makes it known for every little thing he does, so it LOOKS like he's doing more work than he is. Meanwhile, he surfs the internet. Insanity!

About lying to get attention; what about fabricating their whole life so that others will believe they are ministering to and helping others, when in reality they are actually only helping themselves to whatever they can get out of others?

Or they treat pastors, neighbors, and people who "matter" well, but not the people they think do not matter to them. They treat those people like they shouldn't even exist. I hate that.

I don't think she came from that kind of background. She is just controlling and refuses to see the truth in things. I have just gotten to the end of my rope with this person. The last thing I need in my life is another negative person who only sees things in black and white.

Some people like being negative because it allows them to be lazy. They get to be the poor pitiful victim. When you are positive you have to BE positive and generally do something like celebrate. Many enablers feed this and it gives them attention-----from all the do-gooders like myself who are forever trying to get them to pull themselves up by their boot straps and look on the bright side. They love self-pity "parties" where they are the star.

I am so mad at the new Medicare Prescription Insurance Companies. Do you know that they are denying coverage for drugs that people have been on for months and years? These people have MS, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and many more neurological problems? I thought the HIPPA law was to protect people fron this kind of denial when going from one insurance to another. I find this an outrage!

I just emailed the NY AG

I am a RN. I work for a large medical practice in WNY. I have been inundated with calls from pharmacies and patients because the medications that they have been taking for months and years are no longer covered under the new Medicare insurance that the patient now has. I find this an outrage. I thought this is what the HIPAA law was supposed to prevent, a disruption of medical care and medicine? I thought that this was the “Portability” in “Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act” That a patient can go from one insurance company to another without losing treatment. I think the law is being broken across the State, including Western NY. These insurance companies that offer Medicare are in New York State and therefore breaking the law in New York State. Something needs to be done to stop this nonsense. Please help.

Regarding the Medicare program: I can never understand the politician's involvment in some things that matters most~ excuse me if I'm being crude: the minute they get elected to office, they forget to take their heads out of their butts!

IMHO What we have failed to determine in the USA is whether or not health care is an entitlement or a for profit business--and until we decide and define it one way or the other these problems will only get worse.

I got an email from a co-worker today. seems she and the new person in the office were talking about how they both email me. The Mean Associate overheard said conversation and asked who they were talking about. First co-worker said FJD. Mean Associate said 'why?' First co-worker said to say hi, give him updates on clients, that kind of thing. Mean Associate said 'he emails you?' Yes, First co-worker said. Mean Associate said 'he doesn't email me.'

Apparently, Mean Associate is bent out of shape about it and I'll hear about it next time I go in. Well, last time I emailed her, she didn't respond. I sent another email, still no response. I saw her in the office a couple days later and told her I'd emailed her, and she said "Oh, I rarely check my emails - last time I looked, I had over 200 unread messages."

AAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
