Depends on the atheist.Do atheists believe there was a Jesus?
So the eye witnesses all through the nt doesn't give you pause?I have no trouble accepting that there was someone called Jesus, probably a rabbi, who lived around the time of the biblical Jesus. I see the Jesus story as a mixture of truth, half-truth and myth. Something similar happened with Mohammed.

Lol, if that was true would it be a sin for a Christian, i ask of a theist. What's the difference between a theist and a atheist? I feel a joke coming on, lolI'm guessing you go to Gay Mardi Gras.

If you think it's a sin and you do it anyway, that in itself is sin. But I would advise you to try to resolve your uncertainty, perhaps in the first instance by seeking the input of others. So there is something in my life that comes around once a year. It's not clearly designated in the word that it is a sin but i think it is. So only once a year and unsure of it's sin am i condemned if i participate?
So do youDepends on the atheist.

There was likely a person at the bottom of the myths. So do you
Paging Mr Calvin.Do you believe that we are selected by God before birth and in That case perhaps that's what has happened to non believers, they were not selected?
Is Calvinism the only religion that believes that?Paging Mr Calvin.
No, they are just the denomination most associated with predestination. Is Calvinism the only religion that believes that?
I wonder about people who have been raised since they were children being told that their particular religion was right. Muslims and Hindus and all other religions that these people have been taught since they first learned how to speak. I can only trust that God has the answer. What if Jesus is not God? What is one of the many other religions is right?
It not not Jesus vs atheism. It’s Jesus vs all the other gods. And atheism.
The Pope can say what he wants but I don’t worship AllahDunno why you say that. Enki is one of the many gods who is not Jesus. Beside, Saint Pope JP 2nd said God and Allah are the same god so it’s an obvious trick question that I’m not falling for.
Please think about your answer carefully before replying:So the eye witnesses all through the nt doesn't give you pause?
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I know you are sincere about what you've written here. The problem is, looking through the eyes of a non-believer, it comes across as a rather trite platitude.
Yes, I'm kinda surprised they're throwing verse's at you, you a non believer i am sure are familiar with most. It hasn't changed all these years knowing them. It would have to be something that would strike you a new.I know you are sincere about what you've written here. While not all non-believers are the same, there is a general tendency amongst us to value evidence over blind faith.
This means that statements like this are relatively meaningless to an atheist.
