Sorry, I am not guilty of performing your sins.

I have enough of my own, but making poor arguments is not one of them.

Wonderful, if this is so obvious then show me a contradiction.

There never was a global flood. This is evident from the geological record.
Human population was never smaller then a couple thousand. This is evident from the genetic record.
ALL life was never reduced to a couple breeding pairs. This is evident from the genetic record.

I only need one example, to make the point.

You have already tried and every single time you have failed.

You sticking your head in the sand in response to what I say, does not mean that I failed.

Questions like this should be asked in the Christians section only. Atheists have no understanding of what the Bible says and they should not involve themselves in answering such questions; For one, they are unqualified.

I don't see why belief is necessary for qualification.

I mean, I'm a huge Star Trek fan and I consider myself to be well qualified to comment on the show. The fact I do not believe it is real does not mean I am less qualified.

Two, they are primarily seeking to mock God's Word (Which really is not helpful for the person who is truly seeking the truth within the Scriptures).

No I'm not. I'm not trying to mock anything, I'm trying to get people to think critically about what they believe and why.

God made them from nothing in the first place, couldn't he do it again?
Yes.

As Jesus put it ...

Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

So then God intentionally went with the complicated plan that required a great deal of work and still failed instead of just wiping the slate clean and starting over from scratch.

WHY?

I've explained WHY already.

Had God "wiped the slate clean," that "slate" would all be in Hell now (except those already saved).

Doing it the way He did allowed for deathbed conversions.

As they say: There are no atheists in foxholes.

I did not know what marriage was like fully until I was married. Believing in Jesus (or having faith in Him as one's Savior) is more than just having a belief about Him but it is having an actual personal relationship with Him whereby you walk with the Lord. So faith is like a marriage. It is knowing the Lord and what that relationship is like. I used to be an atheist. When I declared that I was one, it seemed like every Christian came out of the woodwork to convince me. But God softened my heart over the years (from that point in time) by using various Christian women. I thought there was something special and different about them than other women. They were not out for only themselves but they were looking to love in such a way that I had not known. A love that was not self centered and focused on just themselves. In time, I accepted the Lord by a tract. The words that were used from the Holy Scriptures in that tract jumped out at me and convicted me of my sin and I repented. Soon as I did, it was like a light went on inside of me. I felt a love and a peace like I had never known before. I had a joy of knowing what it was like to be saved and I wanted everyone to feel that. Before that time, I was just floating through life and unhappy. The things of this world could never truly satisfy me. But God changed my heart through my repentance.

First of all, the claim that there are no atheists in foxholes is laughable and completely wrong. Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers

Secondly, God could have eliminated all life from earth in a way that allowed for deathbed conversions, and still have started over from scratch.

Thanks for the story, but I don't see what relevance it has to the issue we were discussing.

It shows you that faith is not what you think it is.
Also, it is not just a story, it is my personal testimony of Jesus Christ working in my life;
And I am not the only one, either. Others have radically changed overnight because of Jesus. A man who tried to quit smoking before being a believer was able to somehow miraculously stop after accepting Jesus. Men and women have become totally changed by their acceptance of Christ. There are even more testimonies in addition to mine all saying the same thing. How Jesus can change lives. We do not hear about this all that much from other religions successfully like we do with Jesus. Also, God's Word has many evidences that back it up, as well. Then we have folks who primarily set out to attack the Bible and they are not really attack other religions all that much. Why? Because people attack that thing which has value. Bank robbers rob banks because they have value in them. It's why you and others are here attacking God and His Word.

When beliefs are not in accordance with reality, it's the beliefs that are wrong - not reality.
Total Reality - Physical Reality = Spiritual Reality

Total Reality - Spiritual Reality = Physical Reality

Physical Reality + Spiritual Reality = Total Reality

-_- what for? It's the Christian god, the being has no limits. It could wipe the slate clean without all those people ending up in hell if it so desired.

Doing it the way He did allowed for deathbed conversions.
I like to call those "easy outs" because an unfortunate implication of most denominations of Christianity is that a person could be as terrible as Hitler and still get into heaven as long as they convert on their deathbed.

As they say: There are no atheists in foxholes.
How would you know? Those people are dead, and they took their beliefs (or lack thereof) to the grave with them.[/QUOTE]

What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and independence of the Fatherland; so that our people may be enabled to fulfil the mission assigned to it by the Creator.

Hitler did fulfill his mission, to be "the rod of God's anger against Israel", and then to be destroyed.

It shows you that faith is not what you think it is.

Of course, it's what YOU think it is, isn't it? Thank goodness I have a Christian here to tell me of the error of my ways!

Also, it is not just a story, it is my personal testimony of Jesus Christ working in my life;

So?

That is not required in order to answer the question.

And I am not the only one, either. Others have radically changed overnight because of Jesus. A man who tried to quit smoking before being a believer was able to somehow miraculously stop after accepting Jesus. Men and women have become totally changed by their acceptance of Christ. First, testimonials are pretty bad as evidence.

Second, it's totally irrelevant to the issue at hand.

So please stop muddying the waters.
