i'm not saying that everyone should stop because its the diet of the Anti-Christ or anything. the point is that you have to restrict some of the most healthy things for you and substitute it for high fat, and cholesterol foods like bacon. you substitute the most healthy for the most devistating (pork) and this makes no sense.
like i said i'm not demanding people to stop, only trying to inform that there are much healthier ways of acheiving goals. yes you lose weight with Adkins, yes you lose it fast. and this is where the problem lies. we all live in a fast pace, need results now type of world. and as i stated in my previous post, just because you lose weight faster doesn't mean that you are becoming healthier.
you talked about how much healthier you are now because you have to cook instead of eating fast food. not to be rude but do you think the only way to accomplish this is to start the adkins diet. or that dr. adkins personally gave you the will power to do this? the point is that you would lose weight anyways by cutting the fast food, and picking up a diet full of fruits and veggies.
i'm in no way trying to tell everyone that the adkins diet is evil or at best harmful to your body. i'm just telling you that this adkins diet isn't a God send miracle. you can get the same results by drinking plenty of water, eating plenty of fruits and veggies, restricting calories, and exercise. and at the same time become healthier, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, etc.
basically if you are wanting to lose weight...then join dr. Adkins. if you are wanting to become the most healthy version of you, then there are other ways to acheive this than restricting veggies and load up on eggs and bacon.
