Oscar we Love you and we are so very glad you are willing to step forward in Love and use your God given gift to edify total strangers. It takes your time and there is no rewards but that of knowing you are obident to God and using what He has given you. You are and have been a good example of a deciple of Christ who is willing to use their gift. Oscar as i was out walking this morning i walked past an apple tree and i noticed that the healthy apples were shinning in the sun and the light reflected off them and then i looked down at the rotten apples as they lay in the shadow and were withered and rotten and sadness came over me knowing they were once on the tree and shinning in the sun. Dont let anyone discourage you Oscar, you my brother are a shinning apple who is shinning the light of the Son. Peace and Love and may you continue to be obident to God in the use of your gift. While the creation welcomes it and is refreshed in it, the fallen and unrenewed aspects of men will always be convicted by it. The word that is really from the spirit is alive. It has a life of its own and is much like a living spirit being. It goes out into the world and seeks to bring all things into conformity to its content. A word of joy generates joy in the heart of a hearer. A word of peace brings peace. A word of faith energizes and generates faith in the spirit of the recipient. But to those who resist and cannot receive them, they are like thorns driving themselves into the sides. They convict and irritate. This creates a "soft spot" that is vulnerable to the word and the truth. This is why speaking the living word is so important in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Dave we Love you and i would like to personally thank you. You have been a wonderful tool at helping me build my patience towards others. I Love to see how God can use any situation to grow and increase our walk with Him . Amen Oscarr, Keep being obedient, if you get another seed thought for me, start typing, the Spirit is flowing thru you oh mighty man of God, let not you heart be troubled or condemned for surely the Lord and His Spirit of prophecy is flowing and touching many lives and hearts, for He is building His body for a mighty move of His Spirit in these last days and the prophetic ministry to encourage many to keep the fire burning, for we are all going thru preperations for this mighty move of His Spirit, Praise the Lord!!!! I realize you are capable of asking the Lord yourself about Oscarr's ministry...

but I can share that he is truly an anointed brother in Christ. I have seen him in spirit with the Lord.
He will not boast about himself. (perhaps his "I don't know if its from God or not... may just be modesty)

What amazes me about Oscarr's heart is he genuinely wants to help people. I am frequently blessed by the Spirit working through him.


On another topic;
I know even with experienced Prophets there was a learning curve to get the prophetic word right. All Christians are learning to more accurately hear God's voice. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit is big enough to teach each one of us. If someone "misses" we are given grace and try again.
Besides that, we are told to encourage one another and hold each other up. Whether it be rhema word, logos word, an atta boy or I'm praying for you... when one is down, I'm glad there are others that care enough to lift me up.

Sometimes we focus on what is wrong rather than what is right about it. What was right is it's encouraging and the heart given was wanting to serve the Lord.
Standing on principle without love causes us to become legalistic. Judging the heart, I believe is God's job...in my opinion.


I don't understand the hang up of saying you are a prophet if you are one. Most prophets are "pits" that I've come across...a prophet in training. Those that are more mature usually DO say they are prophets, have a following, function either in church or a ministry AND they say "The Lord says..."
It never bothered me when they said that. If one is a teacher, they should say...I have a ministry in teaching. If a pastor, say so. All this hiding is false modesty.

this thread has been cleaned and set back to it's original intent, for the practice of both the giving and receiving of prophetic words.

for future reference if anyone is given a word and it is not confirmed by the Spirit within them, then a simple "I do not receive this word" is all that is necessary.

There is a moment that we must always look toward when we go through our struggles. That moment is the movement of Christs head as he hung from the cross as he took his last breath. He looked UP brother, He looked UP !!
Many times in our lives we find ourselves in a situation we have no control and hope is fading and things seem hopeless and all we can do is look UP !! Brother give her time, be patient, let her grow into your dreams. sometimes the hardest part of our growth is that of patience. Just hold her brother !! just hold her and look UP !! It is Gods Will we not lose one sheep rather than gain 99, that one sheep is in your arms keep her tight and have patience !! Peace and Love !! Rod

The promises of God are a definite yes, and amen (let it be) to those who are in Christ and who walk in the light as Jesus is in the light. Therefore there is no fear in doing the things that you would do on the basis that the promises that God has given you will be fulfilled as you move forward in faith. Where there is no other support, it is the Word of God that provides the stepping stones. It is as if one promise after another another is a stepping stone that is solid and stable and where your foot will not slip and fall into the raging torrent that is around you.

The winds may come and the storm may rage, but you cannot fall because your life is built on the solid rock which is Jesus Christ. He is your sufficiency in times of trial. He is your guide when all around you is in darkness. He is your shield when the fiery darts of the enemy are coming at all. He is your wisdom when you do not know how to deal with the issues that face you at this time.

Do not think that the Lord has deserted you if you cannot sense Him, or that all you see is darkness around you, and your prayers do not seem to be answer. Although you cannot see Him, He is carefully observing you. He is teaching you to walk in faith when there are no other supports. He is encouraging you to believe in His Word when there are no other words to assure or comfort you. This is the way He does it: He removes all your favourite supports and leaves you swinging in the wind until your feet find that solid ground of the promises of His Word.

Then His Word comes to you: "This is the way, walk in it." And even though it may not be according your natural mind, as you walk in the way that the Spirit leads you, the darkness will vanish with the light of His glory around you, and the doors of opportunity, joy and peace will open, and you will again see His goodness more clearly.

"Why are you cast down, O my soul. Hope thou in God, for I will yet praise Him."

Interesting thread. If anyone thinks they have a word for me I'm open to hearing it. This should be quite interesting. As of this writing, this is only my second post here, so nothing should be tainted by prior knowledge.

Heartland, I wouldn't normally do this, but as soon as I read your post I heard "I have heard your cry in the desert."

Then Isaiah 35 started singing in my head. Here's the verses for you to see. Verse ten sorta leapt off the page. I hope it blesses you.

1 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2 It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the LORD,
The excellency of our God.
3 Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted,

Both very right on words brothers, Rod, loving her is what God has been confirming, and Oscarr, standing strong on the Word is very encouraging

This morning, I saw your request for a word and I have been praying in response to your request. I haven't heard anything (yet), but I thought that if I have your name then I would remember to pray over and over.

By the way, I haven't read the prophetic words that others gave you so hopefully my natural mind is blocked out.

Long time no talk, hope you and your family is doing well.

By scripture, we are not allowed to judge a person, only their fruits. I'm don't want to look at Oscarr or QC personally here (although I get yanked into the flesh at times), I want to only look at the fruit of their ministry. I'm not saying they don't have a true gift from GOD on this, I don't doubt one bit, especially QC, but what one calls being from GOD and want the end result is, are two different things.

People don't like me pointing it out here, but what these guys are doing in front of people is just switching their gift on by themselves. It is not The Holy Spirit that prompted them in their endeavors to speak, it was just their own spirit speaking in these posts. People don't know there is a difference in the operation of this gift and are somewhat sucked into a false security from these guys.

Additionally, the forum is now structured for people to be dependant upon the words these men and others speak rather than hear directly from GOD when HE speaks. We are to grow up and hear GOD so that we can do the will of GOD, but spiritual immaturity is promoted in these sorts of endeavors.

It's a crap shoot really. On the one hand you got deceptive people saying that they are speaking for GOD, and on the other hand people seeking things from men instead of GOD.

Every time a child of God is prompted by compassion to speak forth blessings and scriptures and wisdom and strength etc. into people's lives, there is the Holy Spirit in operation through them.

Praise God that many here are not afraid to be judged by man, but continue to obey that gentle and urgent cry of LOVE by ministering to others. Bless you all.

One thing I notice about the words given here - they always point the hearer to God, to His word, and to trust and seek Him more. They are not empty strokings, they have purpose and power to draw the hearer deeper. Of course, as with anything, it is down to us then to apply the words appropriately, but I am glad we have freedom here to share them.
