Bellasong i wasnt going to say this in public however i think God would rather i did so it may help others as well. Sister i will pray for you but the truth is the ball is in your court. God cannot use you to your full potential intell you get ride of doubt. Its like a disease just the least doubt spreads into so many areas of your walk with God. Doubt slows the use of Gods gifts and it covers the Holy spirit making its presense seem far and its voice hardly able to hear. Sister you know i Love you and i can pray till my boots fall off but the truth is till you stand and cast the doubt from you your not going to see or experience the things God has instore for you. Sister your not alone there is not one of us who hasnt had to battle doubt at one time or another. But sister listen it will eat you up if you dont get ride of it, all of it. I cant tell you how to get ride of the doubt but i can tell you Gods Word and the Holy spirit will help you get ride of it. God has so much in store for you bellasong i pray you cast the doubt a thosand miles from you and let God use you all of you. Your friend and brother in Christ !! Rod

Many say the day of the Lord is coming !! i say the Lord is here right now He is seem in a smile in a sparkle of the eye in a salty tear flowing down ones cheek in the squezzing of ones inner self in the reaching hands in the head found upon a shoulder in the warmth of a touch in a lowered head in the weakness of ones knees in the sweat of the hands in the peace of silence. Christs presence is found in so many things around us how can we doubt when He surrounds us and lives within us. His essense literally flows around us and through us for He is our Lord and the Saviour of the World. He is the Love found in so many things. Just stop and look around and listen and you will see Him and feel Him and doubt will flee and be no more. Thank you Lord thank you so much we Love you Lord let us feel your presense Lord squezze their hearts Lord bring a tear to their eyes Lord let your presense be felt Lord pour yourself upon them Lord We Love you Lord surround us Lord its your Kingdom Lord let us see it Lord let us experience a touch of it Lord pour it upon us Lord We Love you Lord. I can handle it better when someone qualifies a statement with something like "I think this is what God is telling me......" This at least leaves the option of a mistake open.

But if your going to say "God told me" or "Thus saith the Lord", I have a harder time accepting it because you are claiming to speak directly from God and thus cannot be wrong. And if you do this, you are claiming that your words are on the same level as scripture. That's why I have a hard time buying the "God told me" or "Thus says the Lord" statements.

I think some of the confusion may have come from the definition of prophesey. I think we use a broad deffinition in here to include any gift that works in the prophetic not just the "thus sayeth the Lord" type I agree if we are only talking that sort there is no room for error or need to practice but for many of us the knowlege we are given comes in different forms. for me, often, if God speaks through me he conveys an idea to me, not the words to express it with. so I need to practice to be careful not to put my own spin on it. Because often I think God is saying one thing but the person receiving has the rest of the picture and it looks nothing like what I thought it would. And as to an earlier question Yes I have gotten in the Spirit's way ussually by trying to help Him when of course he wants to use us but he does not need our help to get it right.

Oscarr, may I draw on your prophetic gift? Would you seek God for a seed thought for me. I have such tremendous respect for your walk before the Lord.

With God, all things are possible. When we look at situations which our natural mind tells us that to go forward along a particular path would be impossible for us, we see that situation with just our natural eyes. What we do not see is the spiritual world where the will of God is always paramount. The prayer, "Let the will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven." is the way to open the door to the spiritual world to see the possibilities in Christ for the situation that confronts you.

You see with your natural mind that all the doors are closed. But there is a spiritual door open, which once you see it in your faith, you walk through in obedience to the Lord even though you do not know what is on the other side. There may be conflict and suffering there and fiery trials that you have to walk through - because God gives you the Promise, then you encounter the Problems, and then you see the Provision. The path of possibility in God is not the easiest.

Jacob went through a door of possibility when he wrestled with the angel, and he finished up as a cripple for the rest of his life. He paid a price for the entering into the possibilities of God. Daniel faced a den full of lions, the three men were thrown into a fiery furnace, Job went through sickness and criticism from his friends, Jonah went through the belly of a whale, Jesus went to the cross of calvary. But all these men came out totally victorious.

Don't shrink back from the challenges that God puts before you. Remember the old saying, "If you can't get over it, try to get under it. If you can't get under it, try to get around it. If you can't get anywhere by then, just plough straight on through it!" Never underestimate the faithfulness of God. Faithful is He who calls you and who will also perform the things that He has promised you. It is through faith and patience that we inherit those promises. The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that the Lord will bring you into when He brings you forth as a mighty victor in Him. You already have the victory in Christ.

Therefore forget your past failures and all those things that are behind you and reach out to what is before you so that you can strive forward to that mark of the high calling of God in Christ. He is waiting for you on the Mount of Transfiguration where Jesus met with Moses and Elijah; but you have to climb that mountain first. Therefore go forward with determination, faith and courage, because as you believe that God is really with you and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, then as you are praying in secret, you will see the glory of God as He rewards you openly with a crown of victory.

[whew! When I saw your request, my mind was absolutely empty. I just closed my eyes and asked God for a word for you, and I just got the little seed thought: "Nothing is impossible with God". When I typed that, the flow started and the thoughts were gushing out as fast as I could type them. I hope this is a blessing to you. I sense that the Lord loves you muchly.]

You may!

The Lord is not willing that any of His little ones perish. He has promises to preserve His saints no matter what they encounter as they walk through this life with Him. As we walk in the light as Jesus is in the light there is nothing that can harm you. There is great security in walking with the Lord. His Word is there to guide you, and your faith shields you from anything that would push you off the path of God's will for your life.

He will not leave you alone to face the challenges and fiery trials by yourself. You may not see Him at all, but He sees you and is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. He is your guide, protector, companion, adviser. He is your security guard to protect you against any attacks. He is like a roaring frighening lion which bares its teeth at anything that would threaten you, yet licks your hand as if it were a tame little house cat.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not always depend on your understanding of things, especially when you are confronted by challenges that seem too much for you. You are right. They are too much for you. But never too much for the God of your strength. He takes you in places which may frighten you where you may be faced with vicious dogs and hungry crocodiles, but know this, these animals are chained up so they may get near you but cannot touch you. He can take you through the very fire itself which may burn everything else to a cinder, but not even the smell of smoke would be on you.

The Lord has been faithful to you before, and He will be faithful to you again. There is no end or limit to His love and faithfulness to you. Be confident of this, no matter what happens in the meantime, the Lord Himself will keep you safe and secure until that great Day when He comes to take you to Himself.

Love suffers long and is kind. This is the type of love that the Saviour has had for you. His love for you will never run out and will never fade away no matter how many times you come to Him reaching out for comfort and assurance. Have you not heard that the Holy Spirit is your comforter. When you receive comfort from the Lord, you can use that same comfort to comfort others. This way you are passing on the love of Jesus to others who come to you for assurance and uplifting.

You are a disciple whom Jesus loves. He talks about you to the Father every day. He reminds the Father of your love for others and your faith toward Him. His eye is upon you and His ears are always open to your prayers. He is storing up all your prayers and tears in His bottle because He treasures what He hears from you. You are His treasure and delight.

Therefore, delight freely in the Lord without any sense of guilt or inferiority and He will give you the desires of your heart. Do not think that this or that desire is too selfish for the Lord to take notice of and to provide to you. He is your provider and will give you the things that will be for your greatest good. Do not be afraid to relax and enjoy the good things that God is giving to you.

Do not feel guilty about receiving good things as the Lord prompts others to give to you. Don't you know that when the Lord gives to you He gives in full measure, abundantly, overflowing. He gives much more than you could ever ask or think because He knows that you will use those things to bring others nearer to Christ.

He wants you to have a heart full of joy, because it is that which will sustain you when the storms come and the cold south wind starts to blow on your life. There will be a time when you will encounter storms in your life and you will not be able to see a bright future for yourself. But the joy that you are now having through His goodness to you at this present time will sustain you. You will remember in the midst of the stormy times that Jesus Christ is your sufficiency.

There are times of plenty and there are times of want. What you store up in terms of joy, love, faith and hope in times of plenty will feed and sustain in times of want. You will go through spiritual deserts where there is little to sustain you, but you will have your own inner supply of love, joy and peace which you will not only use for yourself, but you will share with your fellow travellers who are in the desert with you. They will not go wanting because of your sharing with them.

Therefore, jump for joy in the Lord, because the Lord is with you and is blessing you with the same blessings as He is blessed by knowing you as His loving child, full of grace and truth.


[I had to rush this off because at the moment you requested a word, the evening meal was ready and I was called to it. So I had to think quickly. Thank for the Lord for the flow in this. I can see you quite clearly as a precious person in the Spirit. It's wonderful how that when we view someone through the prophetic we get a glimpse of their heart and spirit before God. You just really have no way of knowing how much this word blesses me. Your seed thought ('all things are possible with God'), is not only what the Lord has been currently speaking to me about the situation, but what He has, on two occasions recently, demonstrated before my eyes. Your word here, with those two demonstrations, is the 3rd witness, therefore. "Let every word be established by two or more witnesses".

You may ask, why does she need three confirmations. Because the next part of your word to me is about the cost. I have sensed this, and need surety in my spirit to offset the fear and to have the courage to move forward.

Bless you, brother! Know with certainty that if I was there, your neck would be hugged until you were left without breath.

I appreciate the passion of your walk, the purity of your character before the Lord, and the tremendous gift that the Holy Spirit has distributed to you for the welfare of the Church.
