Heartland I think you were talking about Spiritlead using old english but i dont want to speak for him but i can tell you that i do as well so much so that i was called into my bosses office because all my documents i write at work i use alot of old english. i explained to my boss that i read and have studied intensly the KJV Bile so much that it has actually effected the way i write and speak. The boss laughed and said well thats a good thing so i dont get buged about it. my guess would be that Spiritlead has studied the KJV Bible as well which has affected the way he writes and i guess thats a good thing and a true witness to his dedication to study. Praise the Lord for a little Old English in our speech

Jim i think my heart weeps the most for those poor people who dont know and have not experenced Love and dont know God nor Christ. Those who have never had a mother or father who cared who has no family who care. I work with 50 + people with disabilities whos many have family that just dumped them off when born and they have never know or been touched by Love their hole life its so said but yet its rewarding to see when they for they first time meet God through Love. An outreached hand a caring word of Love towards them it is amazing to see their reaction the first time they come into contact with Love. Its breath taking to see Gods Spirit --Love when it flows through us into another human being for the first time.
I hear ya!

Brother really all we are trying to do here is allow that flow of Gods Spirit Love to flow through this screen into anothers heart at a time they are asking for a needed lift.
I understand. And I do think God's Spirit flows through us. I just think we ought to be careful when we claim He is speaking directly through us or when we claim something like "thus said the Lord".

No one is trying to take the place of God we are trying to be a vessel for God to use as is His Will.
I understand, and I'm with ya.

And brother God Will is that we Love. Peace and Love !! Rod
Of course.

SORRY about the name thing brother !!

No problem. I got a chuckle though when I thought, "what if my name was Vincent?". Sorry if there's any vincent's around.....it's a good name.:D

Well, I disagree, but certainly not so strongly that I would allow it to hinder fellowship in any way. And as I said to the other person, a Word spoken in Love outweighs everything else. Blessings to you.

Anne,

Additionally, the forum is now structured for people to be dependant upon the words these men and others speak rather than hear directly from GOD when HE speaks. We are to grow up and hear GOD so that we can do the will of GOD, but spiritual immaturity is promoted in these sorts of endeavors.

I agree. We don't always see eye to eye, Dave, but I believe that with you it is like 'iron sharpening iron' :) .

I've mentioned this before in this thread, and I still stand with my posts. I recall writing something on the first few pages on this thread, where I had a concern that people would start asking eachother for personal ''word's'' rather than seeking our Father themselves. I did not wish to see this happen, for the Lord is so willing to speak to your hearts personally.
Now I do not wish to judge the hearts of men, but there is uneasy feeling in my spirit when I see frequent requests for words. And I ask you to discern this very post, for I speak out of love and a deep concern for the well-being of my fellow christians.

Please, when you come here to seek a word, understand what you are asking for. Check your heart. Some people here may be in desperate need for clarification, understanding, or encouragement for the storms in their lives... and the Holy Spirit is there to comfort. During these storms it can be hard to hear the still wisper of the Lord, and then you may go to your brothers and sisters who can hear the Lord for you. The one who seeks the Lord for you should also receive some sort of promting by the Holy Spirit to seek Him out for the person in question, for the Holy Spirit will not give a Word without His permission. But if the need is not present, and you are seeking out a Word for the sake of it, then please take into consideration what you are asking for. When a prophet, or person who is gifted to speak in the Spirit asks for a Word, they go before the Lord's Throne in complete humility. It is a holy moment, and the Word received is holy. A true prophetic Word is birthed right from the mouth of our Father and passed on through His Spirit. We should have fear of God, Yahweh, and a love for His Word and not treat it as something that can be played with.
And even so, isn't it better to speak with our Father personally, and experience what He has to give us in such an intimate way and not through someone else? You're missing out a lot if you look for others to seek Him for you, if the Way is open for you to seek Him yourself. His sheep know His voice, so you can hear His voice too. Let Him strengthen the relationship He has with you by going to Him yourself. It cannot be strengthened if you ask others to seek Him for you.

This is not for everyone on this thread, but I believe that there are a few here who need to hear this.

God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour King.

Is this really from God?

No disrespect meant, but He sounds like a fortune cookie. There's nothing to this. "many for you to touch" could be interpreted as anything. This whole thing could be interpreted at any point in her life as there will no doubt be hundreds or thousands of combinations of events that could unfold where she "touches many".

I prayed for jewel and that is what God brought in to my miheart

Vincent spiritlead steped up to the plate and gave words of encouragment and confermation of two gifts and Jewl has acknowledged this and confirmed the words both confirmed and gave edification. Spiritlead gave words because they we asked for and Spiritlead did so out of Love for his neighbor who asked for encouragment. The outcome was an example of Love and edification. God is Love and God has said we are to edify each other. The Holy Spirit was involved because Love was involved.
Your post on the other hand places the seed of doubt and is not given to edify but to bring down both parties involved by placing the seed of doubt and mistrust, neither is from God. Vincit if you are willing to examine the words given here with 1Cor13:4-7 which defines and gives the chacteristics of Love. If the words given fall within these chacteristics they are of God because God is Love. Peace and Love !! Rod

Thanks Rod!

I know it was encouraging. No question. The problem is he is claiming to be speaking in the place of God. Like God is speaking directly through him to someone else. Hence the use of "I" and "my".

One can be loving and misleading at the same time. I'm sure most hindu's are loving, but they are misleading also.

Yes, I just sowed a seed of doubt. I doubt God is actually speaking directly through him. And discernment is taught in scripture. Thomas basiclly asked Jesus to prove He was actually Jesus risen and alive again. In return, Jesus showed him the nail scars. So, I'm asking you to prove it is actually God speaking.

Confirmation came through Jewel, and every time I have given a word so far, its been confirmed, but maybe jewel could comment further why it was confirmation

I agree with Rod ,Vicent, the way to convince you , is to give you a word, and then be honest in saying it is confirmation, i will pray on the way to a meeting today and see what God shows me, i also ask that any others would pray for vicint for a word for him

Be filled with all boldness to flow in the gifts of the Spirit, for surely i will use thee in healing and deliverance, be not afraid, step out in faith when my Spirit prompts, for i have many for you to touch, and i will touch them thru your hands, and i will love them thru you and your kind words ;)

There is a witness from The Holy Spirit in this. It is somewhat small, but it does originate from The Holy Spirit.

I read it through several times to make sure.

How funny would it be if the fellow everybody is calling Vincent, who has stated that his real name is Jim, were to suddenly run into a guy named Vincent today and lead him to the Lord?...LOL

That would be really crazy and virtually impossible since I'm already born again.

It is funny though. I'm getting to like the name Vincent^_^ :D

To get this thread back on track, lets go back to what it was set up for. To give and receive prophetic words. If you have a situation in which you need prophetic assistance, then ask for it here. Don't give any details, because we don't want any information that will activate the natural mind.

Now, when a person asks for prophetic assistance, I would like as many of you as you can to give the prophetic words that you believe that the Lord is giving you for that person. Now you can have a vision (a mind's eye image), a scripture, or an actual prophetic word. All these are ways God can speak His love into a person.

Don't worry about whether it is going to be accurate or not. Give your word, vision, or scripture in faith, and believe that the Holy Spirit will apply it according to His will. Some of the most powerful prophetic words have been given when a person has not been sure whether the prompting is from God or not. You don't have to know for sure, all you have to do is to be obedient to what you believe might be prompt from the Holy Spirit and to use your faith to present it.

Let the Holy Spirit worry about applying the word to the receiving person.

It can be amazing how when a group of people who don't know the circumstances of a subject person give words, visions, and scriptures which dovetail together and have a very powerful effect. I have a tape of such words given to me in the Prophetic Equipping days I have attended a year ago when a group of people gave words for me. I played it last night and it blessed me all over again.

The good thing about giving words on here is that there is a continuing record of them, and you can print them out and keep them. Six months from now, some of those words may be just so more relevant as circumstances in your life unfold.

Remember, don't give guidance, reveal sin, try to predict the future, or to give words concerning births deaths or marriages. Keeping these rules keeps you out of trouble.

Don't let your natural mind talk you out of giving a word if it doesn't understand what you are saying. It may not be for you to understand why you are saying some things, but the person you are giving the word to may understand fully. Only that person would know.

One day, during a meeting, my friend Rodney gave a word to a guy in the congregation. He said "your faith is like driving a Morris Minor, when you could be driving a Rolls Royce." His natural mind argued against it because of the strangeness of the word. The congregation roared, because it turned out that the guy was the president of the Morris Minor club in the city where he lived. When Rodney gave him the rest of the word, the guy just knew it was the Holy Spirit who was speaking to him. How would Rodney, a stranger to that city and to that guy, know how significant speaking about a Morris Minor would be to that guy? But the Holy Spirit knew.

So, be encouraged and launch out into the deep with your faith. Follow the principle of "Reckless Abandonment" with your words. Be prepared to make mistakes. Don't be scared of making them. God will honour your faith.

He has honoured mine on this forum and I praise and bless Him for it.

Let's have all of us who have the prophetic gift give a word each. This will be a turn around on the norm of prophesying. Instead of one person giving a prophecy to a group, this will be a group giving prophecies to one person. It is amazing what comes out when it is done this way.

I am going to deliberately hold back until a number of people give words for this person.

Anything for me?

I am taking you by the hand my child and I am leading you in a path you have not known. Do not be afraid but place your confidence in my word for I will perform it. Even now, I am standing before you that you may step out of all the afflictions the enemy has inflicted upon you.

It is my good pleasure and my perfect will to show you things to come. Did I not promise you that in the last days I would pour forth out of my spirit? Yes, my child, It is your generation that the enemy has tried to destroy with the drug culture and every type of evil activity to prevent you from coming to me.

Today my child, I am placing you under the shadow of my wings that you may call out to those in need of me, those who don't know me. I am placing that call in you as you stretch out your hand and touch me. Come for I will lead you and I will make the crooked paths straight before you.

Is this God speaking?

(From Webster Dictionary) Guess what word this definition belongs to:

1 a: the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b: the act of claiming the attributes of deity2: irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

And I think your a razors edge away from crossing that line.

This has happened several times now. A post will ask "anything for me?". Is this biblical? I mean, is asking another individual "does God have anything to tell me" biblical? To me, this is borderline religious mysticism. It seems to me this is almost treating God like He's a genie in a bottle or it's using someone else as some type of fortune teller. Or, worse, it's making Him out to be like the game "press your luck". No whammie, no whammie, no whammie....and stop! I've noticed that nobody ever gets any bad news though. Maybe it's "press your luck" without the whammies.

Hey, just trying to throw in some humor, no offense intended. Seriously, it seems like religious mysticism. It also seems that when God is "speaking" through some of you guys, He never says anything that might make someone uncomfortable. He never says anything to anyone along the lines of "pull your act together" or "stop your misconduct". Why is that?

Oh Vincent, Vincent, Vincent! You don't mind if I call you Vincent do you Jimmie?...LOL Perhaps God figures the church, the world, and christians in general are so busy condemning each other at every turn that He just doesn't need to waste His time with it. That part is well covered.
