Why does one need faith, when you have an abundance of objective evidence, to agree with evolution?

Your *faith* is showing...evolution is debunked.

Your Einstein quote is a biblical quote btw...Einstein grew up in a family of non-practicing Jews, but did attend a Catholic school for a time...hence the quote.
He also said the evidence of conscience was powerful evidence of God and that therefore, we must seek that God,

Now go out and seek God.

Actually, that is a rather faded version and more recent atheistic archaeological studies have shown the walls of Jericho fell spontaneously
Can you point me in the direction of that source? I tried looking into it before and all I found was speculation about something maybe being the site of Jericho. I'm interested in reading more about it, but I don't know a good source to read. Since you found atheistic studies, I'd love to start there.

And by the way, Einstein stated and I paraphrase; belief in a personal God, was childish.

You aren't interested in facts it seems...I thought it was us Christians that were at odds with science...

Actually no.

But we aren't talking about law are we? BTW that was the worst analogy I have yet to see on CF.com.
I made my statement, provided my evidence (none) and await someone to show there is enought scientific evidence to exclude God from creating the universe. Shouldn't be that hard.
You go first: Show me that there aren't greebles on Pluto. Shouldn't be that hard.

How much easier can I make it....I have zero evidence to support my position. You should be able to do it at a snap of the fingers....
*snaps fingers* You have "zero evidence." Your claim is therefore unfounded. You lose. Thanks for playing. Any other unfounded claims you want to present?

Sorry, but will have to dig that up...it's not a primary concern of mine. I think I read about it within a larger study; I'll look around tomorrow for the archaeologist name and google her works and get back.

Agreed...just your reference of Einstein presumably was to impress...NOT.

I don't think he said it was childish. He didn't believe in a personal God but he did believe in a Supernatural being of some kind. There's plenty of evidence for that. His great mind recognized that something greater than our puny selves was the ultimate reality. He spoke of God, the divine, and "a spirit vastly superior to that of man” in describing this being.

Are you saying that there is not a single English version on earth that can be just trusted blindly?

I don't know what you mean by "blindly." Why would anyone want to trust something blindly? That makes no sense. I would never trust in something blindly.

Sounds like an argument from ignorance, or suspiciously close to one.

It might be if I was saying that since we can't answer all the questions of the cosmos and world around us that the best default explanation is God. Notice that in my post I talked about "asking" about the possibilities of things happening by chance apart from a Grand Designer. That's a fair question and it not a theological question either.

It would be difficult for me to divorce from my mind my belief in God. I've been a believer far too long. That is why I can say that all that there is in the world/universe speaks to me of the reality of God's existence.

This is not being said as some sort of argument for God's existence. It's just my story. I do think there are good arguments for God and you've probably heard them and rejected them. There are plenty of philosophical arguments to consider as well as arguments from science. Many atheists have "crossed over" after considering those arguments. But you may not find them convincing, plenty of people don't. Personally I do. But my personal beliefs are proof of nothing.

So I'm not making a God of the gaps argument. If I come across that way, it's not my intent.

I do not know of any applied method of scrutiny whereby one can believe in the resurrection of Jesus and simultaneously reject all alien abduction reports.
