If I'm wrong, answer the question.

Forgive me...

The Psalms are poetic. Often they were set to music, songs of praise and adoration, cries for help in times of trouble. Mostly attributed to David.

It doesn't answer how and when to use them.

Acts 3:1
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Peter and John knew. But it's not in the scriptures how to use them. The Church still knows... but I guess we dare not use them. Ribbing you! :)

Forgive me...

Besides, the Lord didn't give Rome Primacy, an emperor did.

Not really. Someone would have attacked it.
Sure, cuz you say so.

Do you have the worship services from any early Church?
Do you have a Biblical defense of praying to Mary yet?

And Japan is still not in my bible...
Must not be real.
Straw man fallacy. Who claimed praying to Mary doesn't exist? Praying to Mary is real, as Roman Catholics & others do it all the time. The question is NOT about whether it's real. The question is whether or not it can be Biblically defended as something Christians should be doing.

Do you suspect that she died and was not buried? Or that she didn't die at all?
I'm ribbing you... :)

Forgive me...
Please notice, I only get involved in Blessed Mary threads when people try to defend much later doctrinal developments (like the 19th century!) on Marian devotion.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. As such, I dearly respect His mother and honor her as I do the apostles/disciples who walked the earth with Christ.

I don't know any of the new stuff. Never was on that side of the Tiber.
My primary study for the past 15 years has been the first 1000 years of the Church.
I look for the differences in the worship practices. When were they introduced, and by whom.

Forgive me...

The answer to the Psalter question about which psalms are for daybreak is...

5, 89 and 100 by Septuagint numbering. It's a wonderful Apostolic practice.

Forgive me...

What would be better is if you can find a verse that actually shows us where believers pray to dead saints is actually at. I do not see this in the New Testament. How about the pagan fish hats? I do not see that one either. I mean, are you not curious? Try doing a Google image search using the keywords:

"pagan fish hats in babylon and RCC."

Then do one for sunworship and the RCC.

Pretty scary stuff.

...

I know that reporting hate and lies won't do any good, so...

I'll bet God would be happy to hear me recite any Psalm regardless of what time of day it is.

Of course he would! He loved them, we should too.

Then your point on "how" to use the Psalms is quite pointless.

No it's not. The point was the scriptures themselves do not give us the order of worship for any Christian service... yet all the pieces are there.

Forgive me...

I don't think so. The Apostle wrote,
"What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you."

So then we have to ask, are there any practices that he kept ("seen in me") that wasn't written down? Did the Apostle Paul pray the hours? We know other apostles did for certain (Acts 3). Jesus did as well (already mentioned earlier). Was Paul's instruction limited to himself or would the example of Christ, Peter and John also need to be emulated?

If it doesn't give an order of service, then how do you know what "pieces" are supposed to be in there? And if any Psalm is sufficient, as you just agreed to, then saying only a specific few Psalms are for the morning is false.
