I wish to enquire re: the above portion of your last post above


to ME... this seems to say:

Without my 'Sweetie' I will not survive

as if there is a dependance upon his presence
some inadequacy within yourself

There is a queue, and I will be next in-line

as if YOU could ensure this would be the case
regardless of our Lord's plans for you
regardless of your Sweetie's wish for you to continue on

That you are sure to be next

does this imply that you would no-longer have any will
to enjoy the life our Lord gave you
or, that all those souls that you are yet to meet
and 'save' in His name... will not meet you as He intended



"and until death do us part"

while 'marriages, are made in heaven'
it is here on earth that they are terminated
and THAT, is final !

Oh Dave . . I have shared those feelings as well at times lately. I will pray for you as well . . (I don't think I've ever seen you post anything quite so downhearted before, though I sense it's not so much being "down" as a beautiful optimism and anticipation of the wondrous paths that lay before us once we depart this earth?)

I've one very selfish, frivolous prayer. My husband and I are flying out to someplace warm tomorrow, our very first time ever flying together anywhere, and I would like to ask for a safe trip. The weather is so bitterly cold, I just hope the plane will be able to operate well.

lORD, STRENGTHEN THIS DEAR BROTHER, strengthen his heart and relieve some of his pain...thank You for keeping his faith sound and the desires of his heart right...that is Your grace...pour out some extra grace grace I pray for dave at this time...thank You Jesus.

I haven't posted in a while...but I do come by to read and see how tenderly you all pray for each other...I have sort of gotten worse with my mites in my skin...lots more activity it seems...had a couple panic attacks...LOL...those are not fun, I never had them before these mites came.

But then, the Lord has given me some very sound and overcoming times too...I keep in the word often or good teaching...and the prayer closet is becoming quite a refuge for me...

Lord, help all of us to honor and glorify You...as You deserve, by hoping in Your steadfast love and help us to take hold of Your promises more firmly...help us to perform Your precepts with more love...Lord and if it is Your will...visit us with Your delivering, healing power. Amen.

I am asking for prayer for a close family friend who just informed us that his cancer has moved to stage 3 even though he has been undergoing cemo for most of the last year. He is a Chriatian and ready to leave this world however he has two children that need him very much. Thank You all very much.

I received a letter from the hospital this morning
confirming it's intent to carry out specific procedures
and states that an appointment will follow shortly

Let us pray, with praise to Him for all our many blessings
in the full and certain knowledge
that, whatever our Lord will bring us to
that, He will then, also see us through it
Let us remember how He was put to death by man
but raised again unto eternal life
and that His promise for us His children
is of everlasting love

We may not always understand His will in our lives
but we can accept in faith, that, but for Him
we would be doomed to suffer forever
His mercy is infinite and those whom repent their sins
and acknowledge His sovereignty
shall live for eternity in His heaven

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us

Could I ask for prayer as I am planning to spend some time tomorrow seeking God over a far-reaching family issue (and also a very minor domestic one)? Often, in matters, in which we, have little [if-any] experience
we may not, 'see the wood for, all of the trees'
When we have Him in our lives
we will, put-others, before ourselves
there are 'times' when this may not be, in their best interests

What MUST remain with us...
is our 'grip' on the reality of, situations we encounter
Remembering that He, knows our outcome
[from the moment of our conception]
That, nothing that we, WILL DO, is going to surprise Him [?]

Let us not worry... about the unknown [for we, have faith]

To worry [overly much] about the 'may-be's/ 'might-be's
may deter us from making righteous choices
[even when... their effect, upon others, is for them, undesirable]

We must that His light on our situation, will
show us our-way through
and, with our hearts on our sleeves...
we must.... do, what we 'feel' to be right to do
and see it through...
without-reservation and without-fear

We MUST... 'look the devil in the eye'
and deny him 'any-right' to interfere in our lives
which was by His grace, bestowed upon-us

His mercy is infinite as is His forgiveness
for, He loves-us... and is eternally faithful

Lord, shore-up our Sister Sue, strengthen her right-arm
as she, righteously, deals with her 'problems'
shine your light into her 'shadows'
that she might see her 'way' clearly
comfort any wounds that she may incur
as she struggles to deal
Keep her close to you, should darkness surround her
and bring her to the top of the hill
where your light can again illuminate this child of your's
This I pray in your name
dear Lord Jesus, our saviour and, our rock, in times of, trouble
amen
