CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Do we not, live, in the same world [?]
Being 'individuals'
are we not granted similar senses/ feelings/ ability to love
Do we not, walk 'in His footsteps' with all of our heart
Do we recognize, the 'earthly things' that have no place 'beyond'
Can we not love, 'so-much' that we are able, to let someone go, to
a better place, free of, disappointment/ suffering/ pain
Will we seek to end this life that we are given
ahead of His will, for us
What ? shall we fear, when He is with us
Shall we show ungratefulness/ selfishness
when, we are granted the cross of grief/ mourning
Shall we not Look-Forward to the day when comes 'our turn' to stand in His Light

A huge and very warm thank you for prayers for our trip . . it could not have been more relaxing and refreshing! Our flights were blissfully trouble free, weather absolutely perfect, and our time with our friends so wonderful. Bless you all . .
Adding my prayers for Dave, Angelwinds continuing battle with the mites, Rev Ozzies friend, Sue's requests (rejoicing in the answer as well!), Jans uncle, Kaths son Keith, KayKays husbands work situation and her neighbor Kenneths health and soul, Savedsiss brother, and for all those struggling with job losses in these volatile economic times . . . we returned to find my husband's company had laid off/transferred 45 employees, and my day back to work on Friday proved to be one of the most difficult I've ever gone through. Still, His peace holds in our hearts in the storms we face.

He, does not gift us pain and suffering in this world
but He is forgiving
and by His grace, we are saved
This young man's journey is now complete

I pray that many will be touched by the remembrance of the life of this young man. May his family not suffer prolonged sadness as those with no hope and may the service offered in remembrance of this teenager be a witness to many of his unsaved friends. Amen

Praying for requests .
I'd like to say that God is answering prayers in my situation, one of which was for financial provision. Today I found that a payment which I thought had been made in error was really due to me and the Lord has blessed me with an extra amount of money. PTL
