Praying for Larry and Barbara. The flu has been confirmed in 3 cases in my province so I will pray for protection for all health and airline workers as well as travellers. I think the cases here are quite mild. Jan

There are no cases in California...at least that was the morning news...the news changes rapidly about the spread of this virus...Lord help us to keep our wits and our hearts focused on You and Your wisdom and mercy at this time. Thank You for Your word...Psalm 91

We have 10 confirmed cases in California now...more test are pending and there may be 2 possible deaths.

I am so sorry to hear this. I am grateful "the powers that be" seem to have jumped on it quickly and are taking this seriously.

I think this is a time we really have to pray & trust in God. We have had one confirmed case a few miles from our house. 2 schools have closed in a nearby suburb because of the confirmed case and they suspect 2 more there. Tests are pending apparently.

Wow the cases here are all very mild. No deaths described as food poisoning that lasts 5 days instead of 24 but I had what I think was Norwalk a few years ago both hubby and I at the same time and it was brutal. Not sure how swine flu is different. Jan
