Forgive me @rusmeister I misread your post, and forgot to add prayers that your recovery continues.

By the way do you have any baptismal names whether of yourself and family or anyone else you want me to add to my list, which I share with a few clergy and pious laity? These can include comments with specific notes.

I would also specially ask for prayers for my son Andrew in particular. I’m not at liberty to discuss anything in public, but there are reasons for major parental worry for a young adult son.

I’d like to ask for prayers again. The various divisions that have divided us all grew in my family have led to major conflict with my wife. Our Saturday together just went down the tube, and it’s only morning. I have trouble even finding the will to ”put one foot in front of the other”. It seems like everything in my life has gone permanently wrong, and I have to force myself to keep trying to move forward to do anything. All of the encouraging words and intellectual admonishments are useless.

I’m surviving. It’s hard when your spouse and children are on the other side of everything in politics and religion and have no respect for your views. I’ve talked about the need for loving in hard marriages and it hasn’t come from a place of smug superiority.
In other updates, I am walking around with need for a cane only on extended walks or after long periods of sitting.

We got our car back last week, though it took all of our money (almost $2500), and we are broke, and trying to save up the 2 grand we owe for rent is a slow struggle. But having a car again IS a big deal, especially now that I work in another city. I had to do a “visa run” again and that sucks more of our scarce cash. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s 88th birthday, who is also living with us in this exile.
Hoping that peace talks in the Ukraine are forced soon. My only hope, as I see it, is to be able to return to a Russia that is at peace with America.
I do appreciate having a place where I can ask for prayers, when there is almost nowhere and no one to ask. Thank you!!

My anxiety is through the roof and my ears are still full of fluid despite allergy and breathing medications. I know I'm not going through a lot, but would still appreciate the prayers.
