CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hello my name is Nick I suffer from mental illness and my mother suffers from stress and my mother Debbie survived cancer and I think we may be experiencing some demonic attacks and we also had a flood in our home but were recovering and my dog buster a few years ago his legs didn't work but now they do please pray for my family and me.

I examined my conscience this afternoon and made a confession of sins on paper, and prayed to Christ that He forgive me and grant me His grace to sin no more. I know I still should (and I want to!) go to Sacramental confession sometime, but I'm not sure when that will be. Please pray for me, that Christ strengthens and protects me and all of us from now until our next confession, and that He has mercy on us throughout our lives

Need some prayers. I am going to talk to my professors to see if I can work out another way to get a grade in their class even if I cannot be there now. The advisors told me that I can remain in my online class only if I am talking at least another class.

Please, friends and acquaintances, pray if you can for Derrick, the husband of a friend of mine who has recently been admitted to the hospital. Derrick and Cara have three children, two teenagers and a 7 year old son. I am sure that the entire family is in need of comfort and care at this time, and would appreciate being remembered. Requesting prayers for my current struggles.
Though my patron Saint would say “Naturally, when one reaches a good spiritual state, he doesn’t ask anything for himself”, I am not there yet, and can use all the help I can get right now for my struggles, spiritual, psychological and developmental.

Glory be God, my friend's husband is out of the hospital as of yesterday or Wednesday (it is a bit unclear). She had to take the week off of work to care for him, so I imagine that things are pretty bad for them right now financially, but he is apparently doing okay now, and that is wonderful news. May God continue to watch over them and their family. Thank you to everyone for your prayers. May God have mercy upon us all and help us in our struggles.
