CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Prayer request
Having a total hip replacement soon. This is a terrifying ordeal for me personally, as the surgeon told me I will never be able to do gymnastics or dance again. I can't even leap bc he said it could break, nor can I turn out my hip at the barre, because it will dislocate the prosthesis.
This has been a very major life change for me, as I've not been able to walk one block for over a year.
I've lost my hip to avascular necrosis and need to have the dying part cut off and replaced. The hip socket will also be completely scraped out and lined with plastic that is screwed into place.
The dying part will be replaced with a ceramic ball that is attached to a titanium rod.
The rod will go into the middle part of my thigh bone. Think of an upside-down golf club.
Rod goes down the leg and large "handle" at the top will be my new hip joint.

Praying for you spice, and trust that everything will go okay. 
I'm glad that you have a date for the operation and it is not too far away now. Praying for going into hospital, the surgery and recovery. Also that you find a new lease of life with the new hip, even if you cannot do some of the things you'd like to do, and this life changing event will turn out to be a blessing. The Lord go with you my sister as you face this experience.

My sister, 'Janet' [3 years my junior]
has been diagnosed with cancer of her tongue
This, is all the information I have at the moment....
8-9 weeks ago, I found myself unable, to continue wearing my dentures (?)
It felt, (to my tongue and finger) as if (at 69 years)
~I had a tooth 'breaking-through' right at the back LOL
Fact is, the skin that covered the bony tooth socket, has disappeared
(mrsa or, similar ?)
There is, no blood and no-pain, provided, I do not wear my dentures
The exposed bone will need treatment............. TBA
