When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43 v 2
The Lord your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3 v 17
Tom I believe these are for you, and for everyone else who needs to hear them now.![]()
You have been and will remain in my prayers....and especially as you prepare for and go into surgeryYes, those Scriptures are comforting, and I did enjoy hearing them. Thank you sincerely for all of you who are praying for me. I'm ready and optimistic that everything is going to go well at 12:30 PM tomorrow.

He has been on my heart all day; joining you in prayer for himThinking of Tom and praying all went well...

Praise GodThank you sincerely all of you who prayed for me. I'm home and recovering nicely. Initial reports from the doctor indicates that it was cancer, but he thinks that he got it all. I don't understand everything they did, but they filled my bladder with chemo while I was in the operating room. I don't know how long they left it. I'm really surprised about the limited amount of pain I've had, and I can already use the restroom almost normally. I was up all night the first night, but I rested well last night. I give thanks to God for the excellent doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for me. Right now my doctor says that I'm cancer free, but he's going to check me every three months to make sure. In short, I don't know how things could have gone better. Thank you Lord.

Thanks for letting us know Tom, and I'm really pleased that they seem to have removed any cancer, that you haven't had much pain or inconvenience, and that you are back home!
