Hi everyone, I've been really busy with my degree lately that I haven't been on here much, but I haven't forgotten the prayer requests.

I wonder if someone would "stand in prayer" with me for a gentleman who is quite ill, and for his family. Many thanks.

Mary, received an email from our friend 'Pat' [in Alabama] today

I paste a slightly edited version below:

You must keep me informed after your scan on the **th. You're on my prayer list, for sure.
'****' and '****' are both doing great.
I do have a friend, Betty, who underwent a biopsy yesterday morning for a lump in her breast -
will get the results this afternoon.
She has had breast cancer twice - once in each breast. Praying for a good report.

My daughter has not been feeling well and has had a few tests which showed a positive ANA.
She will have more extensive testing next week.
When I google ANA, it could be anything from nothing at all to a multitude of horrible things.
Needless to say, we are concerned since she's had double vision lately,
joint pain and is losing strength in her hands. Too much for a 46-year-old.

You and Dave put her on your prayer list also, please.

Weather nice here for a change from normal summer.
Humidity was low yesterday and made it comfortable for sitting out on the deck in the late afternoon.
We're at our record low temp for this morning now and will probably break that record.
It would be nicer if I could believe it would last, but heat and humidity come back tomorrow.

Thank you so very much, Dave. Prayer can work miracles.
Friend Betty got results from her biopsy yesterday
and has breast cancer for the third time in about fifteen years.
They will operate next Thursday and are optimistic because it was caught so early.
[My daughter] undergoes more tests next Tuesday trying to determine what is wrong.
She had a positive ANA but it is a low positive.
I had to google to find out what ANA is (antinuclear antibodies)
which means that some cells could be attacking her body.
It is an anti-immunity condition.

Mary is 'off' chemotherapy... and has been putting on weight 'slowly'
Her hair, appears to be growing-back, so consistently
that Mary is now going 'everywhere' ... without, her wig

Glad to hear that Betty will be having surgery soon to remove the cancer, and that it was found early by the Drs. Also glad to hear that the test result for Pat's daughter was a low positive, so that it can be treated. Thank God for his healing and He is faithful.
