Would really appreciate if folks could pray for my daughter - she has signs of coeliac disease and finds a gluten free diet helps, but a gastroscopy and several biopsies came back negative. Also, since the procedure, for which she had sedation and a local anaesthetic, she has had speech problems and is not getting any satisfactory answers about that either.

A third problem is that she is due to move out of supported living accommodation but it is not happening as quickly as she would like.

One very stressed out 36 year old with Asperger's Syndrome.

I have a prayer request for my little town in Washington, Cle Elum, I use to live there. Anyway, there are several nasty fires near there and one right behind the town, I just heard from my friend that lives there. Here is part of what she wrote:

Thank you so much for your prayers. The firefighters sure need them. We haven't had any wind today, but it looks like the fire is moving a little west which we're not happy about. It's 0 percent contained, but it sounds like it hasn't grown so far. It's about 500 acres and still on the other side of the ridge. They were dropping lots of water today again. I haven't seen any of the tankers dropping retardant today. Sure hope this fire doesn't spread. We at least have an evacuation plan, which is good. Bob and I have never talked about a plan, but we have now. Your prayers for the firefighters for all of the fires is greatly appreciated and prayers for our homes to be safe are needed also

Praying for your town, Cle Elum, Washington, for the fires to be under control and put out soon. Sometimes lightning could cause fires; or if some of them are due to arson, pray that any perpetrators will be arrested or pay a penalty fine. Praying for other states and Calif. that fires will be under control and put out.

Thanks to those who have been praying for my daughter. Apparently her speech problems were caused by damage done to her vocal chords by the probe used in the gastroscopy and should clear up. If her speech isn't back to normal after a couple of weeks she will be referred to an ENT specialist. She will also be referred to a dietician as she needs to be on a gluten free diet. She can get gluten free food on prescription but I don't know what is available on prescription.

Finally, my daughter officially leaves her current accommodation on 14th September. She will stay here until she finds a place of her own. Prayers appreciated for the transition!

Thank you for your prayers everyone! I felt the effect of them and the appointment went well (praise God ), although the results of tests won't be known for a couple of weeks.
