Many thanks for the prayers for my friend. The stroke was mild and only left him with a little numbness in left hand. That should go away with therapy. Came home from hospital yesterday.

Thank you sincerely for the prayers for my mother. They took the staples out and there are no long-term effects. She's also being much more careful with her walker.

in an email to Mary, so, I am afraid I do not have 'copy'
Iris ? ~is doing much better and recovering well
and Pat's bil, is still halfway through treatment and 'bearing-up' okay

for my former Sil Jennifer
and her adult children, Lisa and Nicola [and their children]

Jennifer [aged 58 years] was formerly married to my Brother 'Paul' [?]
Who, died of a heart attack, sometime after, their divorce
This family hasn't had it very easy... what with Paul becoming an alcoholic
the destruction of their marriage and now this.....


I received a phone call, from my niece Lisa just a few minutes ago
and was informed that their Mother [Jennifer] was diagnosed with cancer last year
and recently, had contracted an infection, ~with only days "left to live"


Can we pray for her peaceful passing
and for our Lord to give the family strength and comfort
at this sad and harrowing time
