Praying for all our loved ones who do not know the Lord, that this Christmas they will hear the Good News! (I'd appreciate prayer for two of mine, as I've sent them a Bible "out of the blue". Many thanks. )

for needs, both mentioned and unmentioned

May the Lord make your hearts light with the joy of healing
and, uphold you in your moments of darkness and oppression
May you always give God the Praise and the Glory
and, acknowledge His Majesty before men

In light of my Mary's experience, I urge you to take 'this' to your doctor
do not hesitate, not, any longer than you must
So many people write-off such discomfort to common or, garden digestive disorder
and hope, that their symptoms will, be temporary

Don't wait, make an appointment [first available opportunity]

Please do check with the doc; it may be just from stress and an RX will heal it, but....just in case (better safe than sorry...and why suffer?)

Thank you for your prayers Gail Sis'

Mary's son 'David', knew how to get to the hospital [miles away]
and we got there in just over twenty minutes

Mary's blood was 'tested' before we saw the doctor
who informed us, that because of Mary's weight-'loss'
she would need to have some tests on her heart and kidneys [Tomorrow]
and would start with an adjusted 'chemo' next Monday[to protect those organs]
dependant upon the results of those particular tests

While we were waiting in a side room [examination room] ~for the doctor
David took to some clowning around with a head band optical light that he 'found'
on a table in the room
I will post the video, when Maggie shares it with me, later


David's brusque and somewhat 'pointed' questions to the doctor
were a little disturbing to Mary [just 'his way']
"By how much will this chemo extend her life"
The answer was not given, for it was a very negative-enquiry [not to say: 'insensitive'] at this stage
he won't be coming with us tomorrow ! Thank goodness

Mary's outlook is 'more positive' and still 'bright', at this time

While I understand David's motive for asking
I would prefer that he let his Mum, ask questions, of the doctors....
and that she should 'learn' ~whatever is appropriate for her to absorb, as time goes on

We picked up some bottles of ENSURE (drinks) at the pharmacy in the hospital
and 56 tins of ENSURE at the pharmacy on the way home
and, Mary dropped off a note, from the hospital, at her doctor's surgery [afterwards]
suggesting an ongoing prescription be made for ENSURE DRINKS also

On prescription, these supplementary foodstuffs are FREE of charges

I will update, [whenever] **

What a blessing there is no charge for her drinks; praise God!
It can be difficult with family members; I saw that as a Visiting/Hospice Nurse.
Everyone reacts differently, but you must be sensitive to the patient; if needed talk to the doc privately if she may get upset.
It sounds like you are very in tuned to her needs; God bless you both
Praying for good test results, and her continued strength and hope.
