Last night's walk through the narrow streets of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, UK
I love brick/Stone and narrow alleyways. It's my dream to see this either in the UK or Spain. I love to seeing them when I was in Kyoto also. There was amazing scents that came from the house Windows facing the alley. In a way you're living my dream. I don't know that I want to move there but I sure would like to stay for quite a while and take in the atmosphere and general culture.

It's strange really. During my high school years, I lived in a town not far from King's Lynn (or "Lynn" as they call it) and for many years was my family home. I used to go out there all the time on day trips - mostly shopping related, but never really got to see it as a "tourist". I loved the old cobbled streets, but having visited the Gaol House museum yesterday, I got the chance to discover what it was really like to live there hundreds of years ago, and certainly don't think it was as civilised as it is now!

I love that aspect that you are rediscovering it almost as a tourist. It's pretty much the same here, I'm rediscovering my area that I grew up in with fresh eyes. I think our interest also change as we get older whereas When we were Young I think we only cared about the friends that we had and having adventures and fun. I think as we get older also we become more comfortable with spending time by ourselves and getting out and discovering new things.

Sunset at Titchwell beach. Fortunately I managed to cross back over the sands while the tide was out!

Reminds me of part Colorado Highway 14 (Cameron Pass Road). The road follows the Cache La Poudre River on the East side. It connects with US 40 at Muddy Pass which eventually goes over Rabbit Ears Pass and down toward the ski town of Steamboat Springs.
That sounds like a really beautiful area!!! :)
