Why is it that verses you don't accept are out of context?

Perhaps you are just ignorant of the scriptures. There are plenty more where those came from.

If you claim they are out of context, then why don't you put them in context for us.

God bless.

Never said I did not accept them!

Perhaps...but have you looked in a mirror lately. God sees Humor in it. I know there are...by all means go PICK some more!

I already have, more than once...why do you not go back and reread the thread, or would that cause you discomfort?

You have the imputation and the impartation of the righteousness of Christ confused.
And you apparently can't read the crystal clear words of scripture.

Don't give me that Calvinist double talk, Ormly, just admit that most of the bible conflicts with your dogma and move on.

Luke 8

11"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

We are not saved by a one time conversion experience. It is a walk with Christ requiring our effort and perseverence.
So who did God "unsave" here?

You claimed I quoted scripture out of context, apparently changing the meaning some how.

Prove it, or admit that you just don't accept scriptures that conflict with your man made dogma.

Fair enough?

God didn't unsave anyone.

We choose to follow or we don't. God gives us the opportunity to seek his grace.

13Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

But I am not of the Calvin camp. I have no conflict with the Bible as it reads. You have me mixed up with someone else. For instance, I am in complete agreement with you on this in which you say:
God didn't unsave anyone.

We choose to follow or we don't. God gives us the opportunity to seek his grace.

Of course you do. You may not be a Calvinist, but your borrow their evasions.

We must seek God's grace and make it alive in our lives.

Faith without works is dead. Is dead faith saving faith?

Otherwise, we are not following Christ.

Are they still saved?
The bible says they fall away.

That doesn't sound like salvation to me.

It's the ones that fall on the rock that fall away. The ones in the thorns just get 'choked' by life's worries and don't mature. They stay as baby Christians if you will. Their rewards won't be as great but they are still saved. God doesn't take away His promise.

Once Saved, Always Saved – The Biblical Evidence
The Bible teaches “once saved, always saved” -- that we can be saved once and for all only through a repentant, saving faith in Jesus Christ. Once a person has accepted Christ as Savior, they may wonder if it is possible to lose that salvation. What if they commit a sin? What if they commit a lot of sins? What if they do something very, very wrong? Is it possible to be saved, and then lose that salvation? Fortunately, the answer is a resounding “no.” Once a person has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, he/she is forever saved. This fact is referred to as the doctrine of “eternal security,” often summarized as “once saved, always saved.”

There are several reasons why a person can be confident in their “eternal security.” First and foremost is the evidence of Scripture. John 3:15-18 says about Christ: “The Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.”

The salvation in Christ is not temporary, it is eternal.

The only admittance necessary here is that you are calling God a liar!
:help: me someone! You little warnings are quite amusing my friend.

God loves us both, but we can't both be right when holding mutally incompatible views.

You claimed I quoted scripture out of context, but failed to prove it.

The reality is, of course, that you can't accept scripture the conflicts with your dogma.

Hearing with the ear and with the heart are two different things. Had they heard with their heart they would become converted and thus, not have fallen away. Hearing with the heart changes the life and sets things in proper perspective. This is a process.

So what if you lose your faith? What if you faith dies?

Is dead faith saving faith?

Evasions.

It says they heard and believed for awhile.

How much more clear can it be?

Just in case we missed this promise, Jesus made it again even more clearly in John 10:28-30. "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one." The Father and the Son have both accepted responsibility for our security. Once we're in Their hands, no one can get us away.

Support your claim.
Fine.

Phi 2:12 KJV Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Jam 5:19 KJV Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Jam 5:20 KJV Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Heb 6:4 KJV For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5 KJV And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6 KJV If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Much more when you understand. Satan believes and trembles. Ergo, believing and not being converted whereby the heart can become affected, is no belief at all. Falling is evidible.
