That strikes one as discourteous. It suggests you are not participating in the discussion in good faith. It's no skin of my nose if your actions are thought discourteous, but it might trouble you. Perhaps you might exercise more discretion before posting thoughts you aren't willing to explain.
You aren't interested in seeing if your ideas and opinions reflect the real world?
Of course, the questions aren't just to satisfy my curiosity. I'm also hoping to get you to critically examine your own position. After all, isn't that what discussion is about? And yet you seem totally unwilling to reflect on your own position. Why is that?
I don't reject science, as it is the study of the creation.
Christian beliefs are more valuable to mankind than science, imo. Sadly mankind prefers science over truth.
We mistakenly apply scientific solutions to spiritual problems*, thus the mess we're in.
* Most problems are spiritual in origin.

It's not a dichotomy. You appear to be implying that Christian beliefs are a substitute for science in the above statement.
I'm saying that if mankind had to choose between a science book and the bible the bible would be the better choice.
If teamed up cooperatively science and religion (morality) can be a powerful force for good. Sadly this is not the case.

I think this depends on what you mean by religion or morality. Even among Christians, nobody fully agrees on that.
There's more to science than evolution.
In the context of today's problems.
I mean doing the right thing.
Evolution underpins model (modern?) biology, so to reject that is to reject most of what current biological understanding is based on.
Again, people don't seem to be able to agree on what the "right thing" is. Even in the context of just Christianity you'll find plenty of disagreement.
I can understand biology without the evolutionary history of it.
Doing the right thing must be taught, in school as well as at home. Because doing the right thing usually takes extra effort it is generally ignored.

The issue isn't teaching of that. It's a question of what is the "right thing" in the first place.
Nobody seems to be able to agree on that.
I try to keep things simple. Evolution complicates things.

Biology in general is complicated.
But that doesn't answer my question: do you think you understand biology? If you had to pass a biology exam (say 1st year university) do you think you could do it?

If passing the test required knowledge and belief in evolution I would surely fail.
However if the test just required knowing how living things function I would likely pass (with a little remedial study).
What do you think would constitute how living things function? What topics does that cover?
I would have to bone up on that. I would 'study for the test'.
Courtesy isn't a requirement, it's a gift.
