Given that we are commanded by Jesus to drive demons out, there can be nothing unique about it, unless Christian leaders are trying to ignore the truth. My pastor was only onvolved in one time doing that activity, and rarely talks about it, as he sees it as being something unique, but not to be seeking out!
Unique in the sense demon possessions are rare today, as the there was many at time of Jesus, due to Satan being directly involved in attempting to stop His mission and ministry while jesus was here on the earth.Given that we are commanded by Jesus to drive demons out, there can be nothing unique about it, unless Christian leaders are trying to ignore the truth.
Again demonization is not rare today, any more than 2000 years ago.Unique in the sense demon possessions are rare today, as the there was many at time of Jesus, due to Satan being directly involved in attempting to stop His mission and ministry while jesus was here on the earth.
I think that Satan was permitted by god to become really active with His demons, die to the coming of the messiah, as the Kingdoms of God and satan were then in open warfare!Again demonization is not rare today, any more than 2000 years ago.
Given that demons do not marry and reproduce, there are exactly the same number of demons around now as there were at Jesus time, and they are doing the same job.
Just because you don't believe they are there, doesn't make it a fact.
I'm sorry, but this is really naïve.I think that Satan was permitted by god to become really active with His demons, die to the coming of the messiah, as the Kingdoms of God and satan were then in open warfare!
Real Christians cannot be demon possessed....I'm sorry, but this is really naïve.
Nothing has changed except that modern Christians have got their heads stuck in the sand when it comes to obeying the command of Jesus. Because of that, demons have had free range of the church.
I have been commanding demons out of people for the last 40 years, all of them church going Christians. Deliverance from demons changes people's lives just like it did in Jesus's time.
Yawn, I have heard that tedious echo for 40 years, all the while myself and others have been casting demons out of bible believing Christians.Real Christians cannot be demon possessed....
I can only take what the scriptures say to us about this area, as the Holy Spirit dwells within all who are saved, and he has sealed all of us, and he will not allow any other spirit to inhabit us while he is there!Yawn, I have heard that tedious echo for 40 years, all the while myself and others have been casting demons out of bible believing Christians.
As someone once said, "A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man who only has a theory."
I have seen too many people radically set free by deliverance to believe such unbiblical nonsense.

No you have not taken what scripture says about it.I can only take what the scriptures say to us about this area, as the Holy Spirit dwells within all who are saved, and he has sealed all of us, and he will not allow any other spirit to inhabit us while he is there!
Your score keeping is hardly relevant, any more than those who use the fact that there is no biblical reference to the word "trinity" to deny its existence.Wouldn't that make it very much rarer then, there being the same number of demons to go round so many more people, given that the population of the earth has grown stupendously since the time of Christ? And Demons were fairly rare even then. There are far more mentions of priests, (83) in the New Testament than there are demons, (32). And the word 'men' is mentioned (382) times.
There are NO scriptures that indicate that the Holy Spirit will allow someone sealed by Him to have demons in them!No you have not taken what scripture says about it.
Like many Christians, you have just used some scriptures to extrapolated a false theology for your preferred narrative.
That's understandable because that narrative means that you can now comfortably avoid the direct commandments of Jesus to cast demons out.
Here's your problem.
I'm sure you have read that Jesus issued the commandment to cast demons out as a part of spreading the gospel.
Those demons have two possible types of host body, unbelievers or believers, and you have rejected the latter as a possibility.
If you are indeed correct that believers can't have demons, then you are obviously obliged to drive them out of non believers.
So how well has your casting demons out of these unbelievers been doing then, or have you avoided that also?
You also have an additional problem with unbelievers having demons, and that is, being unbelievers they don't believe in demons or any other of that daft spiritual stuff, and certainly won't let you lay hands on them for deliverance!
And as for your idea that demons can't inhabit a place while the Holy Spirit is there, go read about the OT temple. You will see that it was full of evil spirits while the Holy Spirit was still there.
As I said before, I have been casting demons out of the saints for 40 years, and have seen their lives radically changed.
Demonic activities in the Bible happen at specific times, when God was moving in saving act of grace towards His people, and especially at the time of the Person and ministry of Jesus Christ!Wouldn't that make it very much rarer then, there being the same number of demons to go round so many more people, given that the population of the earth has grown stupendously since the time of Christ? And Demons were fairly rare even then. There are far more mentions of priests, (83) in the New Testament than there are demons, (32). And the word 'men' is mentioned (382) times.
You have presented no scriptures that back your argument, and getting all shouty at me doesn't help you one bit. There are NO scriptures that indicate that the Holy Spirit will allow someone sealed by Him to have demons in them!
Everything in the bible happened at specific times, just how does that prove your argument?Demonic activities in the Bible happen at specific times, when God was moving in saving act of grace towards His people, and especially at the time of the Person and ministry of Jesus Christ!
Again, a zero argument. Just cos you don't like something, that doesn't make it go away.I see NO justification given to have a Christian delivered from demonic possession ministry!
Did Jesus or any Apostle cast demons out of saved persons recorded to us in the Bible? You have presented no scriptures that back your argument, and getting all shouty at me doesn't help you one bit.
Where does he state that at end of Matthews Gospel, at the great Commission though?Everything in the bible happened at specific times, just how does that prove your argument?
Again, a zero argument. Just cos you don't like something, that doesn't make it go away.
Remember, Jesus commanded us to cast demons out as part of the Great Commission.
That's a spurious question, as scripture makes no distinction of whether the recipients of Jesus's healings or deliverance were saved or unsaved.Did Jesus or any Apostle cast demons out of saved persons recorded to us in the Bible?
How can satan and the Holy Spirit be in the same temple? That's a spurious question, as scripture makes no distinction of whether the recipients of Jesus's healings or deliverance were saved or unsaved.
ie. They obviously include both.
Mark16v15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;Where does he state that at end of Matthews Gospel, at the great Commission though?
