Ha! I like that possible explanation.

My first thought was that it could be a "Halloween decoration" since it's October.

I personally wouldn't do it because I'd worry about giving a wrong impression. But others might feel more - secure? Or whatever.

It could have alternative reasons.

But I agree that I wouldn't assume too much either.
