My mistake. So often American cops just shoot people I just assumed. So let me get this straight. You think a bunch of police literally shot someone just for a minor driving offense? Are you deliberately omitting it or are you ignorant of the fact he shot at them first?
Nice try but the police officer was Hispanic. Furthermore, had the victim complied with simple police commands (in this case, stop reaching and put hands up) he would still be alive. It might have helped had he not been smoking weed at the time also.Never fails if you're white.
There was a case in the midwest where the black driver told the officer he had a gun and a license to carry, and when he reached into his glove compartment to show him the permit was shot dead.

Jayland Walker was shot on June 27th, fleeing the police after an alleged traffic offence. His body had 60 bullet wounds. It is alleged that 90 rounds were fired at Walker in the space of a few seconds.
A firearm was discovered in his car. No weapons were found on or near the body. Eight officers have been suspended from duty.
NAACP’s president, Derrick Johnson, said in a statement that Walker’s death wasn’t self-defense, but “was murder. Point blank.”
From the Guardian article: Outrage after video of police fatally shooting Jayland Walker released
Johnson added: “This Black man was killed – struck more than 60 times by 90 fired bullets – for a possible traffic violation. This doesn’t happen to white people in America. Why do police continuously target us like domestic terrorists? We are just trying to live our lives, and we are tired of being hunted like prey.”
'Murder, point blank.' What else could it be?

Philando Castile would disagree with that if he was still alive. The best way to avoid getting shot by police in the United States is when you are pulled over in a traffic stop, to wind down your window, stay seated with your hands in full view on the steering wheel, and to comply with all police instructions. Never fails.
Police are trained to shoot Center Mass. In a real situation you do what you're trained to do. It's much more difficult to shoot someone in the leg and you're more likely to miss.Personally, I really think police officers should always shoot a suspect in an area of the body that incapacitates them (shoulders, arms or legs) especially if there is a good distance between them. At close range (and especially there is only one or two officers), the police shoot to survive and you really can't blame them as to where they hit the suspect.
Yes, of course. Wouldn't you?
The fact is the American police have never done that.

So let me get this straight, you think American cops go around "just" shooting people for trivial reasons? Hey bud, your tailgate's out. Bang. Is that what you think?
