Not likely. More likely she was psychotic or schizophrenic.

Scrupulous people generally try to avoid doing things that would otherwise be perceived as evil.
Yeah, she was probably psychotic or schizophrenic.

This is a different story. The initial story was horrifying. And now new details emerge.

Mom who pushed kids from moving car was astrology influencer disturbed by eclipse

Danielle Johnson was worried about the eclipse.
Under the Ayoka moniker, Johnson issued a torrent of antisemitic screeds, conspiracy theories and alarmist warnings on Thursday and Friday. These included a repost of a debunked apocryphal speech attributed to Ben Franklin about how Jewish people “depreciated” societies wherever they settled, a video about █████ ███████ ███████ in the entertainment industry, and unproven theories about the origin of COVID-19.

A celebrated L.A. astrology influencer’s stunning fall from ‘healer’ to killer

As interest in astrology surged in the 2010s, Johnson’s popularity grew. Refinery 29 raved about her “brilliant gift for calling out the nonsense of any sun sign in need of real truths.” Fader magazine gave glowing reviews of her “dead on descriptions of each zodiac sign and [guiding] them to wellness through detailed moon rituals.”

But behind the persona of a magical healer, Johnson fought “legions of demons,” her mother said, struggling with mental health issues, “low-vibrational energy” and postpartum depression after the birth of her first child.

Cole [the mother] said she tried to get Johnson to seek help. She thought her daughter should see her own reiki healer or try something more traditional, such as talking with a therapist or psychologist.

In the days before the killings and Johnson’s suicide, her online messages became increasingly alarmist. She seemed especially disturbed by the solar eclipse, calling the astronomical event “the epitome of spiritual warfare” and telling people they needed to “pick a side.” She said: “The apocalypse is here.”

I am so glad that I stay away from social media influencers. A lot of toxic stuff happens on X (formerly known as Twitter), FB and other places of online gatherings. My prayers for those negatively impacted by influencers, and that social media stars realize that we should not misguide others as a society by cherry picking and twisting Christian scriptures.
