reminds me of some scientific terms.. Paladin.

well, Kaelin doesn't know, so please just write something about them.. i'll let you know what she's doing afterwards. Though i guess it shouldn't be surprising to you.
no problem at all about the NPC, Lady_Firehawk. Write as many as you like. A question, do you want me to continue paving their surroundings? by the way, you can choose which group you're going to come across.

also, Irune, Xer and Orrifice should not be able to get past these five orcs easily. Notice the description of them.

ok, as the story goes, Rosyen and the man had gone down to where the 'Key' is supposed to be. Since the underground caves are basically a maze... i'm going to have Quennith and the soldiers stumble upon a secret passage that allows them to sneak up on Rosyen while Orrifice, Xer and Iruen are still battling the orcs (but are almost finishing the successive fights, which have not happened yet). Fine with you?
if not, just tell me your ideas. If so, write something about the characters getting lost in there.. in case you're confused with the rpg direction. Hope i'm not imposing too much on the creative space..

yeah, ferment made it more difficult by presenting a stage fight thing, so when they finish the two orcs, they move up to the next two (remember there're five altogether).
They'll need help.. but it's too soon if Kaelin's group jumped in in the beginning. We can make our entrance when they get to the middle of the next fight..

hey I just had an idea, that after this thread is finished, we could start a new on that links to this somehow, like maybe using different characters but somehow relating to one of the current characters. So as an example, Kaelin's sister was kidnapped so having something kind of based on that, with different characters, but maybe having the characters in this thread as NPCs. I don't know if that is explained very well, but I just thought it would be cool to have something like that, where the results of this thread and the characters in it are not just one-off but have an impact in the world... I dunno, what do you guys think?

I'd only just gotten started in this RPG... I'd definitely like to see another big ole quest open up or something. There's gotta be some world-shaking events going on in the aftermath of however this ends up...
Soooo, Quennith and her buddies have stumbled in on Rosyen... Quennith IS a minstrel as well as a sharpshooter; maybe she can compose a bunch of ballads about this whole big quest thing and finally get famous. (Of course, she has to survive, first!) I'm figuring maybe Quennith, Mikel and Teglon end up being that crucial distraction, buying time for other people to do what they have to do.

as in controlling armies, writing characters that are generals and captains or just individuals involved in war. Basically that would include writing things like.. two armies going against each other and what various individuals do. I wanted to ask this because currently none of the rpgs plots so far as i see (might have missed one) involve large scale battles that, as you said, impact hugely upon the world. But large battles would need players coordination..

Large battles? I can do those... kind of a pain, but fun. I'm certainly no Napoleon, though!
Heh... the three will most definitely end up engaging Rosyen and her buddy, once Quennith decides exactly how much she values her life! It's your call what Rosyen's initial reaction to the intrusion would be, though, unless by some miracle they actually escaped notice... I don't know Rosyen's character or abilities well enough to write anything for her.
The plan of action will most likely involve Teglon using his mad sword skillz to engage Rosyen's buddy, while Quennith and Mikel try to distract Rosyen long enough to keep her from nuking everyone with her mana. I'm guessing she'd be able to deflect Quennith's arrows quite easily, but Mikel might be able to pull a few minor tricks to give the arrows a little more bite... I highly doubt all three of them will survive the battle, though!
But yeah... PLEASE write something for Rosyen, even if it's just pointing out that she's somehow unaware of the intrusion!

well I mean that I can't really speak for other characters in terms of their background etc so the only things I could say would somehow link to Kaelin, like I said. hmmm you probably have no idea what I'm talking about... That's why I asked if we wanted to actually link it to characters or just link it to events, such as (this is a random example) Zarkiara blowing up or something.

um.. ok. You guys can figure out whether it should be linked to event after we get to the point where the key is revealed. I've something in mind but needs to consolidate the thoughts more, get back to you later.
