OOC: The Lost Key

I hope the others get there soon, 'cause realistically speaking, Quennith and her friends don;t stand much of a chance against Rosyen. Teglon might be able to get rid of Rosyen's buddy (he's a pretty darn good swordsman himself) but there's no way the other two will be able to do much to Rosyen besides torque her off.

Oh, yeah... I decided to put up profiles for Teglon and Mikel, making them full characters in their own right... after all, I've been playing them quite a lot! Here they are! (I may end up killing off one or both of them, though...)

Actually, I like him a lot... I just think it would be totally unrealistic for all three of my peoplies to survive, y'know. I have evil ideas up my sleeve for Quennith, and Teglon... well, he's the better of the two to play her off against...

anyway, Carrea felt Mikel's mana sense so she pointed the weakest point of the shield at him. All three of them, Carrea, Soiren and Mikel were supposed to attack together.

but it's all right.. nothing needs changing in your post, i'll just add mine in. Just a question before that though, do you want Mikel killed or not? it's entirely up to you. (seriously injured, slightly injured, no injury, or dead)

frankly i've been thinking on the survival rate of our group. Now that we've so many people.. but i'm not used to killing characters.. though *look around furtively for owl* i did think of putting Carrea out of the picture.

Anyhoo... I'll do minor editing; Mikel isn't dumb enough to try it by himself if it wasn't meant to be that way.

Oh, yes, seriously injured at the very least... part of it could be backlash from draining himself so much and part of it could be retaliation from whoever. I dunno... he has the sense that helping with the shield is about the only thing he can do, as it falls within his very limited area of expertise, and he's not much use otherwise. Not dead yet, though... I'd like to give cleric-boy a chance to try and save him and Quennith a chance to go nuts. *evil grin*

thanks for the edit LF. ok, i've done that part. The last sentence about a figure moving in, it's either Kaelin or Quennith since Orrifice and Telgon were busy rescuing the three mana wielders.
or if you guys wanted, the second person can attack swiftly when the first person moves in.

and yes, whoever it is will definitely injure Rosyen.

Yeah, Teglon's trying to ascertain the extent of Mikel's injuries, but he has less medical background than Quennith... and she, unfortunately, is wondering why the heck Rosyen deserves death, anyway. I have a vague sense of it, but... what IS the big threat about the cult, anyway? I realize they're preaching another god, but what's the deal with this other god?

Yeah, point there. Quennith would only have a vague idea that they're internal, but there's no way she'd know exactly what's wrong. As it is, there's the matter of that giant fireball...

well.. since they didn't end up taking the box.. and that everyone all seems to have pulled through this fine, i thought the bad guys probably need a boast of morale.
