CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They are pretty much the USSR, only a LOT more heavily populated, a bit smaller nuclear arsenal, and we buy next to everything from them, so war would be VERY bad. The Middle East, obvious.(ALALALALALALALALALIEEEEE)

Yeah, if I would hand out more reppies more often then I could have given you more. On a few occasions I have wanted to, but the system won't allow it so I've been giving reppies to total strangers in the jokes forum if something they posted even makes me crack a smile. ( I don't like giving points on false pretenses so I avoid that. )

well thanks. I give reps to people whom I believe they deserve it. I have over twenty friends so I make my rounds when I can.... I like all my friends, but I have only about five of my BEST friends ON HERE. Concidently most of them have added ME to THEIR'S. (Yes that means you Wof, Dave, and Mega)

With SDI, and the new missle sheild, I'm not so sure the Russians would win a war with the US. They sold most of thier nukes. Though there is some political problems with Putin, if you pay attention to small things like that. Russia is probably top ten on the list of countries the US is most likely to have a war with.
I doubt the US will have a war with China. Communism in China is slowly decomposing, and the US and China are strong trade partners. I think the US would be allied with China in a large future war rather than fighting against them.
The Middle East doesn't need to fight anyone for a long time. With the US occupying the heart of it, and the second strongest army in the world to the east (Israel), it would be suicidal to start anything. They have the only population growth in the world, though, so we will all be outnumbered soon.

I doubt Europe would bother doing much to try and attack us, since France is, well, France, and Germany got pummeled in 2 world wars, and UK is our best buddy in this messed up world of ours. Italy stands no chance, and neither do any of the other little countries there, unless they ALL suddenly banded together, and we didnt have any allies.

The EU would be banded together. Basically, the only Briton who likes America anymore is Tony Blair our puppet prime minister. France would attack given reason and the advantage, they would just lose. Italy doens't really have a government that can stay in power for more than two weeks, so they might surrender all thier power to the EU.
It seems that America is everyone's ally, but no one (worth mentioning) is Americas ally, if you know wha I mean. Israel is too self-concerned to assist America. If they took an army out of country, BAM! another war with the arab nations. China probably wouldn't mind if the US economy was messed up in a war with the EU, and would wait until it looked like either side would lose to assist the United States.
Of course, I just kind of piece this all together.

Did I miss something? Or did you guys start this global domination conversation in another thread and continue it here? One minute we're talking about pet stains and the next its war, war, war. Not that I mind the subject change, I just seem to be missing some posts somewhere or something. So, on the topic of global war, do any of you study end times prophecy? The Bible has some very definite things to say about how things, including war, will be going down.

Yes, in fact I have a theory that the A-10 Warthog, or a later model of it, will still be in commission.(grasshopper that had bright colors painted on it(they decorate the heck outta those things) spraying fir from its fron and back ends(engines, gatling cannon in the very front))

Those prophecies are so vague it is difficult to really tell WHAT is going on. I really think God will cause the world to end whenever he LIKES and he DOESN'T have to do it by the prophecies! I mean GOSH! People can get so worked up over "THE WORLD IS GOING TO END THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!"
I really don't mean to sound like a b--ch or anything. Just I can't see why it matters WHEN. You should always be ready and so what another country attacks us. We wear our heart on our sleeve SOOOO well, that some stupid little suicidal plane crashes makes us wet ourself! I realize it was a tragity, but worse things happen in the world then THAT!
People die every day, reguardless if they're American, German, ect. And stating that there will be ONE DAY or even one year that will be the end of the world is folly. It'll happen slowly and over many generations. You think the world is going to end soon? Perhaps God meant a different kind of end. An end of THIS generation, this TYPE of sociaty. There are so many takes on the the prophecies one cannot simply pinpoint something down. I am not even sure if that dream had been from God in the first place. There are points in histroy people have been tricked into thinking God was talking to them. Honestly you wouldn't know the difference if your faith was really off.....
OK...my hands are getting a cramp and you guys probably have lost ALL respect, of what little you had, in me...but I just had to speak my peace. I guess you guys can just skip over this post....

I agree with you for the most part on that, especially the fact that people were overeacting on Sept 11th. I doubt you would lose respect from us or any of your real friends for saying something like that, and I like that quote. I used to be in a world domination phase a year or two ago, and I swear I was hellbent on it. The ridicule and laughter convinced me not to, but it was fun working on the different plans. Ya...I'm gonna stop before I reveal any more embarrassing secrets....
