Many times the DNA either comes up "inconclusive", contaminated, both inconclusive and contaminated, and sometimes with evidence or "something" that does not match anything else, but cannot be identified. Also, DNA cannot always be used to prove or disprove an animal, look at the controversy on whether the Red Wolf is a separate species of wolf or a coyote/grey wolf hybrid.
Ok, how come they can never disprove the Patterson films guys? That should be easy to debunk, But they haven't been able too

I have heard many stories and I believed when I was young.

[These Bigfoot hunters say they have seen signs of Bigfoot and they are really trying to find Bigfoot, why don't they bring in trackers?
They could bring in dogs that would be able to easily follow Bigfoot, but they don't.]
I don't understand that and why if they say they have found scat, Why not DNA??

I'm glad the people who hunt for the Sasquatch don't use dogs while searching, which would scare the Sasquatch away and cause it to hide even more effectively. As far as DNA, I don't know the answer. Unlike many of my more adventrous NDN friends, I don't go out searching for a Sasquatch when I'm in NDN Country just so I can say I have seen one face to face. Bad vibes. I believe in leaving the Tsul 'Kalu alone and letting this creature live in peace and away from the encroachment of mankind.

In fact, I'm very glad this creature has not been found because like so many other creatures mankind has discovered, so there is a high risk of this creature being hunted to extinction because of greed and because of fear of the unknown. Mankind has a bad habit of hunting down and destroying creatures either for profit or because of fear of the creature or pushing creatures out of their natural habitat by human encroachment. I think the most dangerous hunters/killers on this planet are human beings.

Honestly they just found a new sea creature didn't they? A huge dolphin or something I can't remember .
It happens relatively frequently, but mostly these days it is from genetic comparisons, such as the new orangutan species described last year. A species of whale was discovered in 2003, also megamouth sharks in 1976, among others.

Yep, that is one that keeps a lot of people's hopes alive.

A similar case with DNA was discussed in this article: Looking for Bigfoot in Indian Country.

It is the Cherokee word from an oral legend describing a Sasquatch/Bigfoot.
I had never heard it called that before. There is supposed to be one living in oklahoma that is seen regularly by many people. I am like why can't somebody get a pic of it??????

Yes, Sasquatches have been seen in Oklahoma. A well known sighting was in Akota County. There have also been many Sasquatch sightings here in Texas too. One not too far from where I live.

My NDN friends don't take pictures when they search for a Sasquatch because they don't want the creature to be exposed and exploited by greedy people who would seek only fame and fortune.

I don't know. I never went to go look for the creature myself. Like I said, I believe in leaving the Sasquatch alone and letting the creature live in peace away from the greed and exposure by people who would seek to exploit it and from the encroachment of selfish people into its natural habitat.

I've never heard of that movie, by the way.

But what would it's habitat be? It is seen in town, In the woods and everywhere supposedly and yet no one can get a decent picture, This is why I can't believe in it, Even though I want too

The sasquatch was not seen in town, but in a wooded area a few miles out in the country.
