They are fruit-only eaters. No reason to fear them.

Other than the fact that some biologists are talking about breaking the Fruit Bats from the smaller carnivore bats and re-assigning them to the Primate family. Their visual cortex and frontal lobes are very similar to the apes.

I don't believe there is an actual, physical Bigfoot (still) in existence. But it is hard to dismiss how powerful (& universal) the belief in a Bigfoot/Yeti is..

Looks just like a guy in a furry suit......the way he walks and turns his head, and as he continues walking, that's exactly what it looks like.

It's just a man, in a furry suit, casually strolling along, human "gait" n' all, casually and dismissively turning his head, all human like, and just a'sauntering on, unperturbed by the human over there with the camera, even as he looks right at him. Even above and beyond that, he would've picked up a "human's scent" and reacted as the elusive creature he is claimed to be.

And c'mon, someone has GOT to have spotted "droppings" or some kind of evidence of their presence, somewhere.

After all, they GOTTA eat, and what goes in, MUST come out, right?

I looked at the footage. Hope this doesn't sound too crass, but the fact that the creaute has no but crack, makes it a pretty clear hoax to me.

Your opinions make sense, however, Hollywood special effects companies, biologists, anatomists, etc. have not been able to come to a consensus if it is a hoax or a real animal. Some anatomists have pointed out that the muscle movement seen when examining the footage frame by frame could only be produced by a real animal.

Very interesting topic. I don't believe in them perse but what exactly are these people seeing? Obviously there are those out there who just want a little attention and so they make things up. So putting aside those, too many people, a lot of them not even looking for him, truly experience an encounter of some sort. Perhaps other large animals and with thier adrenaline skyrocketing out of fear of the unknown is making them think they saw something else? Or could there be something else to it? I know that different sounds can carry in a wooded or hilly area. If some are not used to it, their minds can be interpreting them to be something completely different. For example, some big cats like the cougar can scream like a women in sever distress. The first time i heard it brought the hairs up on the back of my neck, thinking for sure there was some terrible ghost or demon comming to get me. This idea also goes into what about ghosts? Are they real? Are they of the dearly departed or just demons masquerading as "familiar spirits"? What about near death experiences? Again, too many people across the board are having these experiences to really dismiss them totally. And how does this all relate to God's Word? And do i dare even mention extra terrestrial Aliens?
The one thing that i know does exist are demons. This is only because it's clearly identified in the bible. Even Jesus casted out some of them. And it also states that demons can appear as beings of light. Their basic mission is to tear apart everything God has done. If they can lead anyone astray or break apart families by any means necessary, then they will. Is there a connection to the supernatural and these demons? I also know angels are real by the same measure and they have interacted with mankind. They have even scared many of them ("Do not be afraid") could some of the benign experiences be explained by them?

The bottom line for me is to not show ridicule or make someone feel embarassed or ashamed for what they believe they have seen or been through. But to be more of a caring friend who will listen and to validate thier feelings. To be there to talk with them and to give encouragement from the bible so that they feel safe and loved.
