My family is Native American Cherokee and they swear it is truth. I however have never seen anything like it. I wish I could though, I am fascinated by the thought. [Plus I like the tv shows finding Bigfoot]

Tsalagi legend of the Tsul 'Kalu.

They actually see one in person?

I have no reason to doubt. But as I have already said and I would like to make myself quite clear. I will not have the oral stories I was told by some of my tribal elders and NDN friends mocked.

What about bigfoot DNA off some of those hairs?
As noted in some other thread(s), everything associated (beginning to end) with d&a 'science'/'knowledge' is under the power of the god of this world.... (not good to think about nor to discuss) ....
i.e. 1st Peter, et al .....

As I stated my family is Native American and my grandfather was full blood cherokee and they believed in bigfoot. So stories were handed down but I never had heard it matched with Nephilim before

So if he is a Nephilim then he is supernatural and that is why he does not show up unless he "wants too"
I am piecing this together here now!!!

You have a point there.

He IS awfully good at hiding, big as he is.

Nor have I, but the oral stories of the Sasquatch I heard from tribal elders were Cherokee, Choctaw, Lakota and Seminole. I'm sure you already know that stories of the Sasquatch is from many tribes in the United States and Canada, which is the Indigenous ancestral land known as Turtle Island.

These Bigfoot hunters say they have seen signs of Bigfoot and they are really trying to find Bigfoot, why don't they bring in trackers?
They could bring in dogs that would be able to easily follow Bigfoot, but they don't.

They say he smells like a skunk so I may have been close to him, Or it was my neighbor because he doesn't bathe often.. Only every two months whether he needs one or not .

Personally I have no reason to believe sasquatch are nephilim and feel that the connection is extremely tenuous at best.

I believe they are rare, reclusive animals that there just is not many of and that there are tend to live in far off places and generally keep away from people. Likely the expansion of humans has caused them to become even more reclusive and rare. Sasquatch would not be the only large animal to exist without people finding them. There are large mammals that have recently been "discovered" by science in several parts of the world. There are still placed left more or less un-touched by people in North America.

The smell alone should give a hint of his presence, even if miles away.

I have heard many stories and I believed when I was young.

Many times the DNA either comes up "inconclusive", contaminated, both inconclusive and contaminated, and sometimes with evidence or "something" that does not match anything else, but cannot be identified. Also, DNA cannot always be used to prove or disprove an animal, look at the controversy on whether the Red Wolf is a separate species of wolf or a coyote/grey wolf hybrid.
