The problem with a children's day would be that hallmark would start making cards and gifts. Kids already have birthdays and Christmas, so they don't need another holiday if it means more gifts. And I feel like if kids got another holiday they'd ask for that.

Daughters aren't 'kids'. ok. Just because you are female and have parents doesn't mean you are necessarily a 'kid.'

It would just means validate your daughter. I dont' know about hallmark, they can do what they like. Lazy people can just buy stuff, but that wouldn't be the point of having a special day for daughters. Sons are always treated better than daughters in many cultures.

why are single people so precocuppied with marriage on here?
Why do married or divorced people think just because you an adult that you have to be married? one just asked me the other night and I said nope. why should I be married?!
And hello, WHO would I marry or who's going to ask me? So if you single and not engaged, why ask the stupid question???????????

I am just annoyed. RANT over. I want a conversation stopper. Like, NO. I'm single and happy thank you. Can we talk about something else.

because they want it to be a surprise travelers soul. They thinking you will be so wonderfully surprised that they planned it all without you knowing and you will just be so appreciative that you didn't need to plan anything.

my sister is (ssh dont tell) planning on coming for a visit but, I can't tell my dad because its for his birthday. She is planning for him to go on holiday. How she will do this without him knowing I don't know, but maybe she'll kidnap him and say hop in the car we going on holiday for your birthday.

My rant is that some guys just expect a woman to do all the work. Look a woman is not a man. If you have to deal with a time of the month EVERY MONTH where you ahem and sometimes cant literally do much but lie in bed maybe you might have some consideration for the females in your life.

Sometimes I absolutely hate texting, especially with friends who may or may not answer my text for days or at all. What I find ironic is that if I don't answer their texts within an hour I am getting a phone call to find out if I am still alive. smh.
