I was just setting here watching a good movie called Ragtime and my cable went off the air. I hate it when I am watching a new to me movie and it gets interrupted. This also happened to me when I was watching Vertigo and I still have not seen how it ended.

I come on here, and what do I find? the following leaps in logic:
1. Homosexuality is supported by natural law. If it feels good, do it! Real Biblical for ya. No kidding, that was basically what the argument boiled down to, under a guise of nice words and articulate paragraphs.
2. Bernie sanders is more of a Christian than most Christians, if those Christians aren't liberals. Even though Bernie has said he is agnostic and doesn't care any amount about matters of faith except when he can get the Pope to support him.
3. Usage of the word "family" is problematic.
4. All men and women everywhere must now share a public bathroom because a few transgendered people who haven't fully transitioned yet MIGHT get harassed. Apparently even the wrestlers and boxers who sure look a lot like men could get raped by a "transphobe". Apparently they can't defend themselves even though they were basically medically altered into fighting machines.
5. If use the word family in a sentence than you're problematic.
6. A cake is a perfectly valid reason to cause divisions in a Christian doctrine.
7. Catholics "worship Mary" and so this makes them less Christian than people who basically say that anything they don't like in the Bible is outdated. Tradition is evil, apparently.
8. If I publish a novel, get a job, or do anything else in life, it is perfectly acceptable for me to be ostracized, beaten, or suddenly blacklisted without even getting a chance to explain myself. Why? Something about rainbows and cakes...again. I literally eat rainbow cakes sometimes.
9. I have a good chance of getting a bleak, meaningless future in which I don't belong in society, but I shouldn't kill myself. I'm not suicidal but I've never understood why even atheists feel like they have to tell Christiams not to do that.

Ugh performance reviews. Always hated them. Even managers hate having to do them. A lady in my bible study was stressing cos she had one coming up for her teaching job. Like she couldnt sleep.

I think the stress is that, if you not good according to the reviewer you dont get a pay rise.
I just told her it doesnt matter what the reviewer says, all that matters is the Lord and pleasing Him.

I'm a terrible woman, I cannot multi-task.
Also, I don't have a bubbly personality. Somehow I don't think people describe men as 'bubbly' when they advertising admin type jobs.
I get depressed when I look at job ads. Even volunteer service abroad ads. I never knew they needed lawyers and bureaucrats in the islands. I would think people wouldn't want to work in those types of jobs if they went to the islands. I mean, if I went there I wouldn't want to be stuck doing the same job I had to do at home. I would want to just spend time there fishing and relaxing. Why should island people have to learn about taxes and legalism and teaching other useless stuff thats not relevant to their lives.

Spring is here which means our Dachshund knows it is warm enough to go walking. Now since it is warmer outside every night at about this time our Dachshund starts staring me down and if I move even a little he runs for the door.

I don't even like this dog. He barks too much, he pees on everything and he listens to nobody.

I guess for the next 30 minutes I have to walk him while he stops at every piece of grass and sniffs it like he is in heaven.

I do have to admit he is a good guard dog and he has beat up 2 pit-bull dogs which to me is funny.

18 blocks and he is wore out. At the beginning he was pulling on the leash as much as he could but by the time we got to the end he was only beside me. We walk in the door and I let him off his leash and he runs straight for his water bowl.

Ever run into those people that just seem to sneeze to scare you? My dad and several other people always sneeze loudly and suddenly. I always joke that one day I'll die of a heart attack from hearing someone sneeze.

The problem with a children's day would be that hallmark would start making cards and gifts. Kids already have birthdays and Christmas, so they don't need another holiday if it means more gifts. And I feel like if kids got another holiday they'd ask for that.

Also in New Jersey it is the law that a professional has to pump your gas into your car for you because the people in general are too dumb to do it them selves. The rest of the country is not like that but New Jersey is.

I'm not sure about other states.. but Oregon also doesn't have self serve gas stations. I remember some of my older relatives who would just go to the gas stations that had the option of not having to fill it up themselves, though I haven't seen any of those around here anymore.

Here in the states there are lots of jobs and my 3 bedroom house is only about $750 a month. You can get a one bedroom apartment here for about $450 and a nice two bedroom apartment is about $750 a month. Factory jobs here pay about $14 an hour and most will give you all the hours you want so bringing home $700 a week is average.

It seems like some areas of the US there are more opportunities than others. But it's good that there are opportunities out there for those willing and able to relocate.
