Mum has now placed a ban on me buying anything.
problem is she is overridden by Dad who says don't argue. We had this big argument last night over my door bell. Well if she hadn't taken off the lamb picture tiles that she bought hanging by the door then maybe I wouldn't have bought the door bell.
anyway. We argued and argued and she ranted and ranted, till she got exhausted and then said 'I'm not going to argue anymore!'

I shouted 'hooray!'

Why can't she just pick on my brother instead. I suggest a divorce, mum goes and lives with him, and dad and me can stay here.

So...to affirm my previous rant...I had a cart full of brown labeled ground beef and was in the process of putting it all on the shelf. Some random older woman suddenly pops up and starts combing through my cart, making a complete mess of the nice, neat stacks I had. I let her go, figuring I'd better just sit tight and wait until she was done. When she found the perfect pack of meat, she simply left everything and walked away. No thanks or even apologies for messing up my cart of meat...I sighed and started to stock again.

The next pack of beef I picked up was a blue label. Note that the beginning of my post, I mentioned brown label. So not only did this woman ruin my cart of meat, she also dropped her unwanted pack in there and confused me.

Sometimes it can become VERY hard to keep a bright, cheery smile on my face in front of customers.

I can totally relate to this

I know know just how hard stocking actually is- I work overnights though, so I don't have to deal with as many customers.

My off topic rant for right now is the company I work for moving from music discs that play the same songs over and over to an "actual radio station" from inside the company- and staging the supposed employee song requests, so they have an excuse play whatever featured artist they're getting payed to play; such as Bieber, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, etc.

I hear ya nd feel your pain. When I was working retail we had a police of no shoppers were allowed to dig thru our stocking carts. I actually let them but if I would have had a bad day and yelled at one of them I could have gotten away with it.

I do older videos from the 80's and I do Christian videos but when it comes to modern stuff I do not understand it at all.

Now for my rant of the day.

I have wasted all day in front of this computer. I hate this thing. I was wanting to get out and do something but I used the excuse that my toe is too messed up to go out so I set here instead.

My rant is parents just dont understand...they think that the young generation ought to do exactly what they did without realising times have changed. Then they say we are selfish, well hello, pot calling kettle black. I know parents that spend all their childrens inheritance on themselves and kick their children to the curb. The worst thing is they boast about it. Why bother even having children if you are not going to give them anything, or teach them. Might as well leave them to fend for themselves right from birth.

I have heard pastors say that pretty much children ought to be seen and not heard. Well who exactly is going to look after you in your old age if you that selfish and demanding, no wonder people pay others to do this.

I just realized that you are young. For some reason I was thinking you were like 50 or something.

The traditional family no longer exists. Now you move out and start your own life and put your parents in a home when its time.

Actually you cant move out because its too expensive to move anywhere. Where do you go anyway? Its not like theres houses and jobs available.

Here in the states there are lots of jobs and my 3 bedroom house is only about $750 a month. You can get a one bedroom apartment here for about $450 and a nice two bedroom apartment is about $750 a month. Factory jobs here pay about $14 an hour and most will give you all the hours you want so bringing home $700 a week is average.

Another thing to rant about...if family no longer exists, then why do children really want family? What are they born into these days, a void where parents just leave them as they go off to work. I saw this ad by ikea and it was heartbreaking.

The parents were asked who they most wanted dinner with and they said all these celebrities or the president etc.
Then their children were asked and they just said we want to have dinner with our parents. Every single child said that.

Then the parents saw the childrens answers and you should have seen the look on their faces.
