God is a pretty powerful motivator. if you think he says something you will be rooted strongly to it until you understand it in a different way. paul got people killed over his zeal.

but I can't tell what exactly zxcv believes about those verses, maybe he linked the verse cause something seems so clear to him that he wanted to clear up the misunderstanding by showing a fuller quotation of the verse. but if he is against women in the manner that some are then at least he might be able to learn why some women don't want to be with him.

and tbh it's nice if a woman has the option to do house work and take care of her kids. why is it thought to be a good for both the husband and wife to work? it's good for the economy. "unemployment is very low today!" yeah and why is it good that now both people have to work instead of the good old days when people could get by with only one person working?

just means the economy is not as good as it used to be from a human pov. the economy should not be the god of people, the economy should be a servant to people.

Grrr! This is why I hate socialized medicine. I'm still dealing with severe shoulder pain, so I finally call my doctor and he's out for the rest of the month and booked solid until August 31st. That's when I get to see my doctor about this pain.

My only other option is going to the emergency room and waiting ALL day to get seen for a non-emergency.

how much purpose is enough? why can't I identify with enough purpose? I can't find any function in the world that seems worth it. I can't find or make my "true will". this sloth and loss is a much different feeling from the intense depression that I once felt would stop my heart. functioning on mere duty is not enough. my personality does not lend itself to going on for no reason other then repeating the same boring stuff I did for the past 10 years + a mix of everything I enjoy and find meaningful. i'm not interested in the games of success, I think they are weary and stupid. they are burdens that are not worth the effort.

it's hard to make myself take this seriously anymore. I feel like my goal is to become more and more washed-up. "I don't want to stay" is the only real answer I can give. I have worn out my welcome in this world. I can't grasp or for some reason can't accept the divine purposes of being a creature in this world.

I find this more depressing as grown men and women make such a big deal out of a children's game. It's another reason why I never liked sports.

I hate and am saddened about the fact that my mind only receives sadomasochistic empathy.

These last few months I have been putting up a lot of effort into trying to be a better person, not getting into fights and insulting others. The reward I get is that I feel empty and my depression worsens. This all stems from my inability to feel empathy/connection with others. My sense of humor tanked, and forming thoughts for posts have been extremely difficult. These last few days I've been entering back into the mindset of women hating short men and how angry that makes me and I've felt a tinge of being less depressed and more energized.

The worst part is, most will probably not understand my mental ordeals or believe them. I remember reading an interested study conducted in the 1920s that revolved around sadomasochists being encouraged to abstain from psychological sadomasochism. What they found was that the participants became lifeless and depressed. Symptoms I sadly all too understand and know are real. Amazingly some of the researchers commented that they should stop abstaining from their psychology because it was hurting them more than helping them.

It's a horrible cycle, and one that is most likely hardwired and impossible to escape. Honestly it wasn't until I was an atheist that I was able to realize this problem. Growing up in Christianity there was plenty of psychological sadomasochism to go around. The Bible teaches that the world will hate you for being a Christian, and that in the end times Christians will be severely persecuted (these examples are just the tip of the iceberg). Such beliefs sat well with my psychology, although it was a pretty unhealthy mindset. While I'm hardwired for that thinking, it's hard not to think that Christianity greatly exasperated the problem.

Christiandom has literally the worst and most destructive views of mental illness/mental deficiencies I've ever seen. The words given to people suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar, or other mental illness or deficiencies are literally poisonous darts based out of brash and impulsive ways of thinking rooted in foolishness and ignorance.

If you don't know, don't say it. If you have an opinion on these matters, don't say it. In the same way I wouldn't tell a heart attack patient "in my opinion I think it's ok for you to run 5km" without knowing the science behind what those actions could do, don't give a mentally ill person spiritual advice that replaces proven medical standards. Your opinion is harmful.
