Of course you can - and unless others said you couldn't, there's no need assuming others felt you cannot. People can always assume what they wish just as they can assume there are people living on the dark side of the moon - and others noting there's no need to assume such doesn't mean they are saying others can't choose to assume anyway since people have free will.

Not really that complicated of a concept:cool:
Doesn't really take being an attorney for anyone to note an observation (as he's good by himself and has done that multiple times). That said, if one wishes to talk on what is or isn't useless, it was already pointless talking as if others didn't know previous history between you, Contra and others like-minded with Contra on differing issues. Of course, you chose to bring it up and it was addressed. Not surprisingly, the type of response given to a claim was similar to what Contra already had to address before in regards to history/older dialogues between you two - and as Contra noted, it is useless when one chooses to react rather than respond considerately. Seriously, it doesn't take anyone being a lawyer to see the obvious when it comes to reading into things more than what's there (as others have also pointed out).

Due to seeing previous commentary by yourself that Contra/others experienced before, I'd hope you would be long past that in choosing to come back on the forum instead of tending toward comments which can easily go into flaming (counter to CF rules). Unfortunately, that has yet to change. If one wishes to attempt commentary that is reactionary (and a bit petty), it should always be kept in mind that there's no need for it when others disagree, as that's needless - and when one speaks assuming others don't know about history (as you did), there's nothing wrong with noting where people don't need to presume that much as if others aren't aware of the facts.

    It is what it is.

Yep, a huge waste of time. Not to mention the many false assumptions and tons of irrelevant info that constantly [and rudely] hijacks threads. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed either.

Neither. It's just a waste of time, as whether the President is a "secret" Muslim or not means nothing in a so-called democracy. Nor do I have a "history" with you, as I'm not even sure who you are or do I have any recollection of any substantial debate or disagreement with you.

It's a public forum hosted in a free country. You will get opinions that don't fit your agenda (you call them "hijacks" in this context). That's just the way it is.

That's true. Thank you for the reminder.

Wrong assumptions all the way around. I don't have an agenda, and I rarely start threads. I was talking about the book length posts that are so disruptive, which frequently ends up hijacking threads. It has been complained about by many others on many occasions. :)

Goes to show how much we wouldn't be surprised that Obama continues his blatant Muslim gush.

I sure hope your not serious CM, that would be kinda' scary. We may not agree on much, but I wouldn't want to see your health deteriorate like that. Your buddy Gx2 above seems to know quite a bit about it. Strange.

    I sent you some mail.

Indeed....and anytime people get offended the moment you disagree and then have to resort to bickering on the matter which is the equivalent of "Yo Mama so fat" jokes (high school antics), that is something which will always lead to problems.

It's far too easy to seeking to resort to triviality/derision in immature manners - and reacting with tons of comments (short and long) that are essentially based on choosing to be petty/rant rather than responding thoughtfully.

It really doesn't get to people who understand the nature of realizing your place in the world and online interactions - and who don't have agendas of always wanting people to agree with them lest they choose to attack because they couldn't get their way ( Proverbs 11:12 , Ephesians 4:29, Galatians 5:13, 2 Timothy 2:22-24 ). The moment that they cannot resist deriding those who disagree, they essentially do what they claim they're against ("hijack") for their own purposes - and that's a pity.

Others have noted it often enough - and sadly, it tends to be something that can be hard for others to really give up - in addition to what others have pointed out with inconsistency on the issue when it comes to having to resort to ad-hominem/red herring for the sake of argumentation (as had occurred elsewhere with more of the same).

That is said in light of the false claim/exaggeration one has to resort to in saying those who write in-depth/comprehensively are the only ones doing "book length posts" - a matter of random commentary that's rather pointless since books are far longer /noting in the forum comes close - and most have done it or condoned it (be it if they wrote something or wanted themselves to read something they agreed with - as seen here). That - and the fact that plenty of posts have been made vastly short (which get selectively left out in argumentation in false scenarios) and plenty which are as in-depth as others get noted in appreciation by others.

Essentially, it's a straw argument anytime many disagree (as has been discussed before in #26/ #274 /#293 among other places) - and a matter of irony since one will always live out the nature of "hijack" they try to place on others when they make repeated comments mocking others rapid fire

For it doesn't matter if many do not read what one writes since people don't write for every audience anyhow - nor does it matter if all may or may not read something written. People will read what they wish and interact at differing levels - and people who cannot deal with information as it is tend to find ways to blame those making it rather than being responsible in ownership of their ability/learning to actually deal properly with information......choosing to realize that others can deal with as much or as little as they wish and understanding where plenty have commented to not have issue with it. To try arguing it while also deriding others can disrupt a lot - in addition to a matter of derailing conversation when one cannot learn to not back-bite the moment disagreement occurs - and it's something thankfully others have called out for negligibility :).

Thanks for always keeping sanity present, Bruh

Indeed. As it is, it's more so the fear of Muslims that causes others to trip so much (including if seeing others work with them) - despite where many in Judaism have done so often and where Muslims have long been a part of American Democracy. There're already Muslims involved in politics within American culture as well as grassroots organizations and they work with Non-Muslims often (more here, here, here, here , here, here ,here and here/ here), so it's bananas to see the ways others react to Muslims/assuming they're all out to conquer you and take over. I truly do feel sorry for the many Muslims who feel very isolated within the U.S and living in fear, but I am glad for others working on their behalf (just as with other groups) to ensure that they're well connected

And on the president, if he was a "secret Muslim", he hasn't done a pretty darn good job "hiding the fact" that he's a Muslim. Owns a dog. Drinks beer. Goes to Church. Claims Jesus as his Lord and Savior. ...

Is Obama a Muslim? Examine the Evidence!

With the president, a lot of people seem unaware of the ways that he has done work with others from all camps and has made clear his heart to work with people in differing backgrounds/build bridges. More was shared here on the issue when discussing his background from a multi-cultural perspective, his faith in Christ, and the ways he appreciates differing religions (such as Islam) and yet also has an ecumenical approach to how things are when it comes to being global neighbors. For other places to investigate, one can go here to Obama's Fascinating Interview with Cathleen Falsani or here at Barack Obama: Evangelical-in-Chief? How Christians might think about the President's faith.

People on all sides---be it Christians or Muslims---have often taken issue with President Obama. Just came across this recently and enjoyed the debate on the issue (as it has Michael Eric Dyson bringing a lot of clarity on the issue of why Obama has tried to reach across the isle to do work):

Best black vs white debate on youtube - REP DAT

The man has worked with Muslims, Jews and Christians - but his support of both Israel and others in the Muslim world is a matter of his heart to work with others. ..just as other Jews have done. I'm always tripped out at how many think Muslims hate Jews and yet they ignore where other Muslims/Jews have been good friends. Seen it myself and was tripped out the first time..especially as it concerned the ways Jews would come to the defense against Muslims and vice-versa (Christians included if seeing others like the Coptic believers in the Middle East) who were harmed by radical views/stereotypes.

Yep - and it's a lot in addition to the amount of aid we've given to Israel - documented to be the highest it has ever been in American history. And as said before, there is an extensive amount of people within his own staff who are Jewish. As said before, many have said 'Why is Obama exclusively favoring the Jews?!!" when it comes to Obama's support of Israel (which many in Israel have noted to be the strongest ever out of any president, abeit one where he's not concerned with allowing Israel to have its way in whatever they desire while also working with other nations outside of Israel to work together in common solutions). People can easily say there needs to be investigation of the many Jewish people in Obama's administration who've influenced things. ..and some have noted that directly in opposition to the president's stances.

    • Jared Bernstein – Chief Economist and Economic Policy Adviser to the Vice President [ECONOMICS]
    • Rahm Emanuel - White House Chief of Staff
    • Gary Gensler – Chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission
    • Sally Katzen – Major legal adviser to Obama-Biden
    • Ron Klain – Chief of Staff to the Vice President
    • Eric Lander AND Harold E. Varmus – Co-Chairs of the President’s Council of Advisers on Science/Technology
    • Jacob Lew AND James Steinberg – Deputy Secretaries of State, second in rank only to Hillary Clinton in foreign policy matters
    • Ellen Moran – White House Director of Communications
    • Peter Orszag – Director of the Office of Management and Budget
    • Dennis Ross – Obama’s Ambassador-At-Large in the (Entire) Middle East
    • * Daniel B. Shapiro – Head the Middle East Desk at the National Security Council
    • Phil Schiliro – Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs (
Many others besides that. Jackie Mason comes to mind when seeing the ways that he shared comments on Obama that were woefully inaccurate - for Mason (who is clearly not anti-Semitic) claimed there is too much Jewish influence in the Obama administration - no different than others saying there's too much Muslim influence - and each side seeing the other as having "too much" when concessions are given to both on certain things and neither side has their way 100%..

Some have said before "Well, have you compared how much the U.S gives to Muslims to how much Israel/Jews are given?!!!" - or they say "The Arab and the Muslim nations get twice as much money as Israel!!!!" due to being convinced that the president (based on hearsay) is trying to someone favor Muslims more. But there's context.

As another noted best on the issue:

That said, Jews have been HIGHLY favored by President Obama and we have to be honest on that.

The CIA did not create Al Queada. That is a myth. IN Afghanistan there were never more than 2-300 arabs and support for the resistance movement against the Russians went through Pakistans SIS

I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW ACCURATE THIS IS!
YOU REALLY NEED TO TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!

    Math trick :
This really works and will only take you about ten seconds!!!

Amazing it really works this is my all-time favorite movie.

I am very good at math, so I did it in my head, then on paper, and finally on a calculator just to confirm my numerical capabilities.

Each time I got the same answer, and sure enough it IS my very favorite movie EVER!

DO NOT cheat. DO YOUR math, THEN compare the results to the list of movies at the bottom

You will be AMAZED at how scary true and accurate this test is

    1. Pick a number from 1-9.

    2. Multiply that number by 3.

    3. Add 3.

    4. Multiply by 3 again.

    5. Your total will be a two digit number. Add the first and second digits together to find your favorite movie (of all time) in the list of 17 movies below:

    Movie List:

    1. Gone With the Wind
    2. E.T.
    3. Blazing Saddles
    4. Star Wars
    5. Forrest Gump
    6. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
    7. Jaws
    8. Grease
    9. The Obama Farewell Speech
    10. Casablanca
    11. Jurassic Park
    12. Shrek
    13. Pirates of the Caribbean
    14. Titanic
    15. Raiders of the Lost Ark
    16. Home Alone
    17. Mrs. Doubtfire

    Now, isn't that something?

Strange, how does it always come to 9? I guess it's the 3's, the 3's always make it a nine.
