Despite the fact that Barack Hussein Obama claimed he was a Christian during his pre-election campaign, he inadvertently admits that he is actually a Muslim.

Obama: "My Muslim Faith" - YouTube

Here is the rest of the email that I received accompanying the video above....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

WHY MICHELLE CAME HOME - Interesting!

Sheppard Smith, Fox News.

"If you check President Obama's trip over-seas, his wife left just after their visit to France . She has yet to accompany him to any Arab country. Think about it. Why is Michelle returning to the states when 'official' trips to foreign countries generally include the First Lady."
Here's one thought on the matter.

While in a Blockbuster renting videos I came across a video called "Obama". There were two men standing next to me and we talked about President Obama. These guys were Arabs, so I asked them why they thought Michelle Obama headed home following the President's recent visit to France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband. They told me she could not go to Saudi Arabia , Turkey or Iraq .
I said "Why not,(?) Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Dubai ." They said that Obama is a Muslim and therefore he is not allowed to bring his wife into countries that adhere to Sharia Law.

Two points of interest here:
1) I thought it interesting that two American Arabs at Blockbuster believe that our President is a Muslim, who follows a strict Islamic creed.
2) They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia . It was a signal to the Muslim world, acknowledging his religion.
For further consideration, here is a response from Dr. JimMurk, a Middle Eastern Scholar and expert on Islam.
This is his explanation of what the Arab American's were saying.

"An orthodox Muslim man would never take his wife on a politically oriented trip to any nation which practices Sharia law, particularly Saudi Arabia where the Wahhabi sect is dominant. This is true and it is why Obama left Michelle in Europe . She will stay home when he visits Arab countries. He knows Muslim protocol; this includes, bowing to the Saudi King. Obama is regarded as a Muslim in the Arab world, because he was born to a Muslim father; he acknowledged his Muslim faith with George Stephanopoulus. Note that he downplays his involvement with Christianity (after touting it in the election campaign , by not publicly joining a Christian church in DC. And occasionally attending the chapel for services at Camp David .
He also played down the fact that America is a Christian country and said, unbelievably, that it was one of the largest Muslim nations in the world, which is nonsense. He has publicly taken the side of the Palestinians in the conflict with Israel and he ignored the National Day of Prayer, something no other President has ever done. He conceals his true faith to the detriment of the American people."

--- Jim Murk, Doctor of Philosophy in Middle Eastern Culture & Religion.

ACTIONS speak louder than words.

Another interesting item regarding Sharia Law. Why has Barack Hussein Obama insisted that the U.S. Attorney General hold the trials of the 911 Muslim Terrorists in Civilian Courts as Common Criminals instead of as Terrorists who attacked the United States of America ? If the Muslim Terrorists are tried in Military Tribunals, convicted and sentenced to death, by LAW, BarackHussein Obama, as President of the United States , would be required to sign their death warrants. He would not be required to sign the death warrants if they are sentenced to death by a Civilian Court . Muslim Jihadist, Army Major Hassan slaughtered non-Muslim soldiers at Ft. Hood, Texas rather than go to Afghanistan and be a part of anything that could lead to the deaths of fellow Muslims. He stated that Muslims 'could not and should not kill fellow Muslims.' Is the motive for Barack HusseinObama's insistence on civilian trials, to make sure he doesn't have to sign the death
warrants for the Muslim Terrorists? Why would he, as President of the United States , not sign the death warrants for Muslim Terrorists who attacked the United States and murdered over 3,000 U. S. Citizens on 9/11? Could it be that he is FORBIDDEN by his RELIGION to authorize the execution of Muslims?

Think about that! Open your eyes, ears and mind to who and what the President is, how he behaves and what he is doing!
Actions speak louder than teleprompter-written words.
Please pass on to family & friends around the country and ask they do the same!!

Old news. Of course he tried to cover up his little "slip".
Sorry ChavaK, I don't keep up with world news like I should. I would much rather spend my free time studying Torah. I just received this in an email today, along with some more incidents involving Obama and his Muslim faith. I had no idea it wasn't current.

How did he try to cover it up?

Obama: "My Muslim Faith" - YouTube

More to follow.

Christopher Hitchens gives his atheist viewpoint on Obama and his religion:

- YouTube

Is Obama slipping and stating he is a Muslim or is that slip up because of his opinion on religion in general?

My impression of him is he fits more into Humanism and being a politician is caught in the revolving door between secular and religious worlds.

Who cares.

Well, it might explain how US foreign policy under this administration has managed to side with every Islamist rebellion in the Middle East--in Libya, Egypt, Syria, etc. and why he's hostile to Israel. It might also explain the administration's ongoing war on Christians at home, coupled with a complete disinterest in the Christian victims of Al Qaeda and company overseas...all the while the president takes to the airwaves to say that the US has some special obligation to save humanity from savagery anywhere in the world, as a matter of simple morality.

Personally, although I cannot say that President Obama lives out what Biblical Christianity is about, I cannot in all honesty claim that he's automatically a Muslim - although as Hitchens noted, I do think there's something to be said on the aspect of being "Christian" in the sense of being religious and that the president often seems to line up with that....that, or being apostate (more shared in #434 from the election season last November).

The president is definately an inclusivist, in that he agrees with other believers that feel the Lord judges the heart/determines whether people are seeking him or not.....with it being the case that even those who've never heard of the name of Christ can make it into heaven just as others did in the OT....More on that was discussed at Faith, Politics, and the Evangelical Culture of Judgment « Out of Bounds

President Obama has always appreciated the spiritually pluralistic nature of American society. He is a Christian Inclusivist who respects the beliefs of everyone in our society–Spiritual Seekers, Christian Exclusivists, and nonreligious people alike. The inclusivist view is at odds with the exclusivist view that occurs within differing camps of Christianity----but it is not a view seperate from what many in the early Church held to. Father Papademetrious (of Orthodoxy) defines "exclusivism" very precisely and narrowly: it only refers to the most extreme position that all non-Christians "will be damned because there is no salvation outside the visible Body of Christ, the Church". Papademetrious' definition of "inclusivism" reflects and expands upon his definition of "exclusivism". While allowing that salvation is possible for non-Christians, Papademetrious (again very precisely and very narrowly) states that (1) the only possible avenue by which non-Christians can escape damnation is "through the mercy of [the Christian] God"; and also that (2) non-Christians do not attain salvation (if they attain it at all) through the agency of their non-Christian religious traditions, for such salvation is only conferred on the non-Christian "in spite of the religion he practices".

There are many thoughtful believers often wondering about the final destiny of those who, through no fault of their own, do not in this lifetime hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many believers assume that all such persons will certainly be lost. ..though evangelical scholar John Sanders says we ought not to be so sure - and for more, one can see more in an article, published in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, which gave reviews on Sanders' book, No Other Name: An Investigation into the Destiny of the Unevangelized ( HTML PDF ).

The President isn't a Muslim -as goes the tall tale that has been addressed by many over the years when it comes to the facts (including the debunked claims on Obama's father being Muslim making Obama Muslim secretly ) - and as much as I may disagree with his policies on a host of issues (especially as it concerns events like Libya and Syria currently or Egypt/other places), I don't believe for one second that the President is a Muslim nor do I believe that it requires the man being Muslim to do many of the actions he has done and have shared elsewhere on that (more here/here and here in #46, #90 and #202 ).

I do see it where he has supported Muslim causes as well as Christian ones selectively since he has taken heat from both Christians and Muslims - although he has noted (as have other believers) that it's not automatically negative to support causes that help Muslims nor can it be the case that they're helped EXCLUSIVELY (and that goes for other groups as well) - and it doesn't seem to help the moment that there's conspiracy theory reaction in assuming any type of help or aid to Muslims MUST mean he's a Muslim since the same logic isn't applied when he has given extensive aid to Jews and Christians and yet others don't assume he magically became a Christian/Jew because of it.

He is very pragmatic/seemingly for Utilitarianism. And interestingly enough, many of his actions with supporting rebellions in the Middle East seem to be doing nothing more than opening up the door for starting war with the enemies of Israel eventually/destabilizing them (Iran seeming to come next after Syria) - so there is a dynamic of subterfuge that seems to be at play......more shared in #31

It seems very Machiavellian - but it's not the first time it has occurred in politics in the name of helping out another government you're allied with ...willing to allow hits on your own side for the larger goal that is being carried out - and technically, as said before, much of what the president seems to be doing in the Middle East is NO DIFFERENT than what occurred before with other presidents who ended up working with the very people they said they were against if a larger goal warranted to them temporary working relationship (as the U.S created Al-Queda originally to be used against the Soviets in Afghanistan - and now we're using them to topple "corrupt regimes" even though they do damage ) - more shared in #9 /#18 /#22 /#24 /#31.

It was already the case that recently it was noted that Israel's Ambassador Admitted that toppling Assad was a Longtime Goal. The Assad regime was willing to engage in peace talks, and the rebels have not been so willing.... why do we support the side that isn't amenable to a peaceful solution? Obviously there's something in it for our country's leaders ... the few elite who are running it. But politics is always messy - and thus, even when others say "The President isn't for Israel!!", I tend to chuckle since to me it seems apparent that he's not for helping Israel out in the ways many often assume help to look like.....

Even as it concerns Israel, seeing how most of the President's administration are made up of Jewish individuals (as noted before in another thread) and the Israeli State has received the most extensive amount of military aid during the president's administration - others in Israel noting where he has gone out of the way numerous times to support Israel even though he has made clear where he doesn't agree with all of its policies just as others in Israel don't support everything with their government.

President Obama has shown consistent support for the Israeli government (more shared on that in #36 and in one excellent review by Mark Martinez examining his stances ) - and it often seems to be ignored. And yet that support may be given (like with other presidential figures) on the basis of financial support/profit rather than sincere love.

I say that because he is a Coporatist (more shared here, here, here, and here ) - One needs to look no further with the corporatism issue than with what happened with MONSANTO (large agribusiness) - which the president promised to be against with GMOs not labeled...and then switched to having them now in charge of the FOOD supply despite their bad record/harming the environment. The same can be seen in his bailing out WallStreet. Again, the President is one who has proven himself to be owned/operated by the Corporations/those with the money (be it banks or big businesses) or funding him.......and thus, it often seems he is forced to go with continuing an agenda that had zero to do with whether you're LEFT or Right since there are folks on both sides of the street supporting him on what he does.

But ultimately, as much as I may dislike him on SEVERAL stances, I cannot slander the individual simply because of my dislike for him...the facts are the facts.

That said, the issue is a long-standing one that has been brought up before....and on the issue, there've been presidents who also made mistakes in speech multiple times, from Bush to Clinton to Lincoln---but they all self-corrected and what was noted was seen in the full context of all they noted additionally. If the Bible commands others not to slander anyone (Titus 3) and to have comments in context, that means that all--regardless of who they are--deserve to have what they say addressed in relation to what they have done in general. One doesn't assume (for example) that a clip where President Bush says Muslims will go to Heaven is to mean that he is suddenly Muslim or a Universalist thinking all worship the same....for that'd be disingenious when it comes to basic research/review on his overall stances and policies.

The same goes for a president making a misstatement on the name of an area and others assuming he overall doesn't know locations in any place...and likewise, a clip of the president saying "My Muslim faith" (from the OP) and self-correcting doesn't mean that he has always claimed to be Muslim/somehow slipped up in admitting it or that he doesn't have a track record of proclaiming Christ as the way to salvation. There's context-----and he also made clear where Mccain was not spreading the rumor that he had a Muslim faith. Context must always be considered...and it's not established by a 12 sec video clip where the president self-corrected when in conversation.

One of the many reasons why many Muslims have denounced him and shown him to be inconsistent with Muslim practice:cool:

Of course, sadly, many will still claim that he's secretly a Muslim - under the false claim that he somehow is allowed to lie based on the Quran. That is a foolish assertion, of course - as Islam in general, forbids lying and the Quran says, “Truly, Allah does not guide one who transgresses and lies.” Surah 40:28 and Surah 39:3 ...although the concept of deception (similar to what David and others did when in mortal danger/resorting to lying) is something that is present in Islam. In example, if your life is being threatened (like someone having a gun to your head.....your family at the risk of being killed as a result of your beliefs... etc.) then you may conceal your beliefs. However, this is the ONLY case in which you are allowed to do this. For nobody should have to be a forced into martyrdom for their faith if given the choice to avoid this. Here is the verse:

Surah 16:106: Whoever rejects God after having believed - except for he who is forced while his heart is still content with belief - and has comforted his chest towards rejection, then these will have a wrath from God and they will have a great retribution.

Thus, unless there's something horrible that the President was in danger of (doubtful), it'd make no sense for him to lie about being a Muslim when he's already the most powerful man in the free world. But people will believe whatever they wish...

According to the koran a muslim is allowed to do or say anything to gain the trust of their targeted sheeple. And it works. Two terms in office. The facts are the facts. Stick with the facts.

No. It is because the CIA created Al Qaeda and it is the CIA that supplies them weapons and Obama is a CIA puppet. I think they might even have him under mind control. Obama's religion has nothing to do with the U.S. government supporting Al Qaeda. It is ALL CIA. Do the research. The CIA has controlled the American government for what will be five decades this November the 23rd.
