Why would God put all the evidence of oil taking a long time to form under very specific conditions (even going so far as to planting evidence of it currently in the process of formation in the source rocks) but then make it happen suddenly in a Young Earth Scenario?
You have trouble with my questions, don't you?

Okay let me dumb it down.

Skip a planet with oil ... let's make it a loaf of bread.

If God created a loaf of raisin bread tomorrow, in the blink of an eye, you would have trouble with that; since you know raisins as aged grapes?

Why would God create an earth that looks old, then drown everyone except one righteous guy with a drinking problem, and his multicultural inlaws, but then hide the evidence AGIAN????

You have trouble with my questions, don't you?

No. I answered them clearly and straightforwardly. Honestly I answered every part of your question to the best of my ability!

The fact that you don't appear to have understood your own question, well that's not my "problem".

Okay let me dumb it down.

You might want to try going in the other direction when dealing with me. Thanks!

If God created a loaf of raisin bread tomorrow, in the blink of an eye, you would have trouble with that; since you know raisins as aged grapes?

Yup. I'd ask God why He did that. If he made it with fully aged raisins, which is something He could DEFINITELY do, no problem there. My question is "why?" Why make something that to my simple mind requires more time than was used to make it, even if it was "made" as old as it appears to be.

I think the answer is that God didn't just create it to "look" old but created it to actually "be" old. A miracle, for sure, and questionable why it would be needed to be that way, but in this example I believe AV is suggesting that God created the earth exactly as old as it appears. It was created with the age already in it. Again, a "miracle".

Why would god make a loaf of raisin bread?

Because raisin bread is good. And God makes good things.

(I can't believe that someone would have to explain simple theology on here)

There would be little 'laminar' flow over the surface

Water flowing across landscapes would indeed have to be MIRACULOUS to attain only laminar flow.

Do this test. Place some fine silt in your bathtub then fill it with water. Notice that the silt moves very little after the initial flow of incoming water, and only moves toward the drain when almost all of the water has drained away above it. This with no structure to slow the water movement as would be in the case of heavy grass.

You really need to learn more about particle sizes. Hint: there are particle sizes below "silt". Google "clay size".

Also check out the morphology of the clay minerals (which often take on clay size fraction). They are nice little flat plates that take a LONG TIME to settle out even in perfectly still water.

Perhaps you could talk to a clay mineralogist. If they want to separate out clay minerals for use in an x-ray diffractometer they will suspend them in water and let them settle out in a very still setting and even then it takes a while.

Now imagine even with laminar flow how long it will take these particles to settle out.

Thank you for an excellent point. The slow vertically moving water would cause very little erosion.

YOu earlier suggested a great deal of the water coming from the oceans transgressing onto the continents. Sorry to break it to you but that will result in flow up onto the continents.

I know you are studiously avoiding this point, but you should definitely google "Transgressive sequences". I think you'd be surprised at how much actual information geologists have about the things you seem to be hypothesizing about.

Back to the lying God claim. Your version of God did not just make the Earth "look old" he planted evidence that points to evolution, and only evolution. You don't see a dishonest God as being a serious theological problem? I do.

Yes, I know.

We're all liars.

God would be accused of lying just for creating raisin bread ... let alone the universe.
