Um, no, there is no profit in a ship sinking with tons of your product on board. The point of being built for 'profit' means that strength is compromised.
No, I am noting the limitations of wood as a building material for long vessels. At 450 feet+ in length, the very nature of wood and its physical properties would have the planks springing and leaking like a sieve. No matter what resemblance it has or does not have to a ship. The ark suffered no such limitations. You are conflating the limitations of wooden ships with a structure that bears no resemblance to a ship.
Because of the physical properties and limitations of wood. I thought we already went over this. Why would it leak like a sieve?
Perhaps the professionals who built the Wyoming thought: if the Ark could survive, the Wyoming could as well?I dont belive in magic.
Maybe he thinks professionals built the Ark?"Leak like a sieve" isn't very technical. Don't you have some 'math' to support this contention?
I'm unsure how this is hard for you to grasp. You presented white cliffs and meandering rivers as evidence of the flood. I asked you to show how they are evidence of the flood. You have yet to do so, as you have meandered off into non sequiturs about pyramids.I have no idea what you're seeing.
Q: When was the Flood?
A: 2348 BC
Q: Evidence?
A: White cliffs and meandering rivers.
Q: Pyramids existed during the Flood.
A: Not according to the Bible.
Now ... take it from there.
Nah, I am pretty sure that the professionals who built the Wyoming knew better.Perhaps the professionals who built the Wyoming thought: if the Ark could survive, the Wyoming could as well?
And because of that, 14 men got a reality check.
Right there:Where?
Please show how either of these are evidence of the Flood.
Evidence of flood two.
I think the flood occurred long before what is usually believed. I have no date.
Because of the physical properties and limitations of wood. I thought we already went over this.
This is common sense, no math needed. I shouldn't have to build a clock in order to tell someone what time it is.
If it followed even just a FEW of the laws of physics we'd actually know the date pretty well.
For the second time: the Bible does not allow for it.I'm unsure how this is hard for you to grasp. You presented white cliffs and meandering rivers as evidence of the flood. I asked you to show how they are evidence of the flood. You have yet to do so, as you have meandered off into non sequiturs about pyramids.
I would have thought that you would understand the physical principles I outlined. Of course I could be wrong.
"Leak like a sieve" isn't very technical. Don't you have some 'math' to support this contention?
That is a strange belief. Since the flood would have been blatantly obvious the question is how could they have missed it if it ever happened.I believe that science will eventually discover the flood in the geologic record. The question is will they own up to it.
Then examine the principles I outlined and show me where I'm wrong.
The leaking occurred even in calm water conditions. And the flexing problem gets worse the longer your vessel (and the ark is usually estimated as at least a hundred feet longer than the Wyoming). The limitations have everything to do with the structure and the material limitations of the materials making it up.The 'limitations' you refer to have more to do with water conditions that the structure plying it. Even the Wyoming was fine if the seas weren't too rough. Recall that it was in service for over a decade before it sank.
I can't remember if I asked you this or not: but do you think Jesus Christ was on the Ark, like He was in the furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego?
I believe that science will eventually discover the flood in the geologic record. The question is will they own up to it.
