The universe started out at a mass/energy level of zero; and in six days God raised it to its current level today.

Strange, I can't find "ex nihilo" in any of these versions:

Genesis 2:2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

When I was in grad school I skipped paying rent and electricity for a month or two to buy an HP 11C. Still have it. Best calculator I ever bought. (Cost north of $120 at the time if I recall).

1. Explain the difference between creatio ex nihilo and creatio ex materia; and give two examples of each.
2. Explain the difference between "God" and "LORD God".
3. Eden in the Bible is known as __________ on a secular map.
4. The triune Godhead is a violation of what scientific law?
5. Put the following in order that they appeared in the universe: whales, stars, trees, sun, land, sea, outer space.
6. What day was Adam created on?
7. Was the universe created a closed system and, if not, what kind of energy did it run off of? if it was created open, what closed it?
8. Describe terra aqua and what kind of water it consisted of and why.
9. Photosynthesis required light from the sun prior to the Fall. true or false?
10. Explain how a 24-hour day could transpire before the sun was created.

I bought it when my old TI died. I had always wanted an HP and to have a reason to learn RPN. Only poor decision for me was that I decided to jump to RPN in the middle of P Chem. I probably could have planned that a bit better.

One thing one learns as a teacher is that sometimes it's not the students fault when information fails to be transferred. Just sayin'.
