Christian means "of Christ." Evolution is contrary to the teachings of Christ. It's an undeniable fact.

In your opinion, does this mean the people who agree with evolution and claim to be Christians are not Christians?

Nice try, but I'm not going to break forum rules.

I'm saying that what they believe has no basis in the Scriptures, nor is it supported by science. By attempting to reconcile evolution with the Scriptures, they have created a belief that has no support either in the word of god or the laws of physics. Christ did not teach that man evolved. He taught that the Scriptures were true and that the flood was a real event involving the people mentioned in Genesis. The Scriptures tell of the magnificent creation of the universe by God. Evolution says it's all a lie; that man evolved from simple chemicals over millions of years and there was no involvement of any God. These positions cannot co-exist. If you claim to believe both, you either understand or believe in neither. In all the years I've challenged theistic evolutionists to justify their rejection of the Scriptures by passages that support what they claim, not one has ever been able to do so.

So they can be Christians that reject the teachings of Christ, just as I can be an evolutionist that rejects the teachings of evolution.

Can someone quote this so that KWCrazy can see it? I wanna know what I did to offend him so much that he blocked me. It can't be because I am atheist, he talks to plenty of atheists. If I did something truly offensive I want to apologize. At the very least, I want to know why.

Well, many would disagree with your opinion of evolution not being supported by science and they would disagree with you quite strongly.

To be clear, you consider yourself an evolutionist, who refutes the theory of evolution?

What did you do Sarah?

I have no idea. Generally I am more polite and tolerant of the ideas other people have than most people on here, even when I completely disagree with them. Plus, I have no idea how long it has been that he has blocked me, so I can't even narrow it down.

I wouldn't worry too much about it Sarah, you are very polite. Sometimes being blocked, has nothing to do with being rude and everything to do with making a lot of sense.

If that turns out to be the reason I am going to feel a sort of intellectual sorrow.

Well, thanks for posting those guys. I don't like to offend people and I can't stand not being able to say sorry, even if KWCrazy won't forgive me, it makes me feel better to at least try to present an olive branch, so to speak.

This kind of stuff just bothers me, I can't help it.

If putting you on IGNORE bothers you this much, I'd hate to see what someone REPORTING you would do!?

It is all your fault.

You beat him in an argument.

Creationists do this quite often. Take is as an admission of defeat on their part.

Being put on ignore doesn't bother me; not knowing why and not being able to apologize is what bothers me. I have been blocked before, as you might recall, but I was told why, and was able to resolve it. I have been reported, mostly for getting too off topic, but I knew what I did wrong. It profoundly disturbs me when I don't know what I did wrong. It feels kind of like guilt, but with more antsy anxiety than chest tightening.

Wow.

If someone snatched your purse, would you chase them down the street apologizing?
