Nothing you've posted so far backs up this claim.
I did. This was the consensus...there was no way she could lose. They were wrong.

That is my point. I provided as much information supporting the fantasy that Hillary was a sure thing. You are quibbling for no reason. The point is every source said she would win; she did not win.

Actually, the consensus -- which you so generously linked to -- was that the odds were heavily in her favor. They were right.

Right -- every source put the odds at 90% or higher...

unfortunately for your point, a "sure thing" is 100% -- and nobody is saying that except you.

All commentary - news, op-eds, talking heads went WAY farther than "The odds are in her favor".

So that is really an ridiculous minimization of what was actually happened to say that, which is why I did not.

Op-eds posting opinions? What does the "op" stand for, again?

and what do talking heads do if not talk?

So that is really an ridiculous minimization of what was actually happened to say that, which is why I did not.

You're trying to conjure up a conspiracy where none exists -- everyone knew that Hillary was the heavy favorite... why pretend she wasn't?

A perfect example of why we shouldn't believe polls.
On a side note, the vast majority of people won't even participate in polls. NYTimes shows that 30,000 people were called, and only 526 people bothered to answer and participate. I'm sure far more than that will actually vote next month: Midterm Election Poll: Texas Senate, Cruz vs. O’Rourke

Why? They were right. Hillary won the popular vote; no contest... but the president is not elected by popular vote.

Cruz had best hope not... Texas is turning purple...

Evidence for this? The link I showed you shows otherwise.

The link you showed right after expounding that polls are unreliable?

The latest AbD Poll indicates a majority of Americans find polls unreliable.
In a related story, 86.7% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I heard you the first time. Sounds like you shouldn't put too much stock in that poll you posted.

Obviously you didn't even read it the second time. It pointed out that the vast majority of people don't even participate in polls. Understand now?

Whipping up the base by calling the opposition deplorables.

Dog-whistle politics is political messaging employing coded language that appears to mean one thing to the general population but has an additional, different, or more specific resonance for a targeted subgroup.

What code was she using and what did it mean to her target group?
