Need some help on the old KOTOR...

Hey all! I'm playing Knights of the Old Republic. I'm only about 10 hours into the game but I've hit quite a snag!
I can't go to Tatooine because I go around a corner and there are 3 dark jedi who promptly kill my entire party without much trouble.
Same with the Madalorian boss on Dantooine. I've upped my skill and power, tried different combinations of party members and still get wiped clean. I've even used the FLU. What am doing wrong? How do you beat these guys??

It's been a while but I think I had everyone throw frag grenades immediately to lower them some and concentrated everyone's attacks on one DJ at a time. If you still get wiped easily, I'd say go somewhere else and grab a lvl or 2 then come back.

10 hours into the game... there really shouldn't be any fights that you can't handle. Is your team armoured up properly?

The only tough fight that I remember (originally) is the one where my team exits the cave where the dragon's pearl is. And outside of the cave are the Dark Jedi's along with the short Bounty Hunter.

Yeah, they are armored up good...plus they use the arm shields, battle injections, etc. etc. It's only the three dark jedi that whoop up on me. Thanks for the suggestions though, y'all!

my brother had that same problem bring all your jedi you should have 3 you the dark one and the one with a yellow saber just keep tryin you might have to lvl up but if you say all 3 attack 1 then youll only ahve 2 dark jedi left remember to use the health restorers and keep trying

i remember the dark jedi on tatooine getting me too at first. for me it was cuz the dark jedi had insanity and stasis power. so while i was stationary they just hacked me to death. after went the through the game again i never had a problem with them before. i think you should tell us what armor you are putting on because some armor resists the dark powers the dark jedi use against you.

Ha HA! Success! I have taken all your help into account and have whooped up on the dark jedi on Kashyyk, Tattoine and the fish planet! I also whooped Calo Nord and his band of thugs. I ROCK now!

Are you playing Light Side, or Dark Side?

I'll assume Light Side since 9/10 people do Light Side their first time around.

I'm trying to play light side, but I swing a little towards dark on occasion because I cannot seem to stop bullying people into giving me discount droids and free stuff.

Do not lie to yourself. It is weakness that drives the jedi to deny their innate superiority and reject the power they are capable of. They do not understand the power of the Dark side. Embrace your anger and hatred. It is your right as a jedi to trample on those beneath you. Accept your destiny!! I only ever beat KOTOR as a dark jedi but I do want to go back and finish it as light just to see the ending.
